$SCYX — This financing news is hard to overlook for a biotech this size. SCYNEXIS just secured a BARDA contract providing up to $214M in potential non-dilutive funding for antifungal candidate SCY-247. The initial ~$18.5M portion helps advance oral and IV versions toward Phase 2 in invasive candidiasis. Government-funded development significantly changes the financing equation here.

$SCYX - SCY770 has been tested in 15 phase 1s and a phase 2 in MASH. The previous company looked at Pk/PD and a number of clinical endpoints. The mechanism of action is well understood and validated $SCYX is INTENTIONALLY doing higher doses b/c the results will give the company important data they can extrapolate to the upcoming P2 in AKPKD. You can model potential outcomes based on the PK/PD they are about to report. This is why it's such a big deal.

$SCYX IMO has sell the news all over it in this bad biotech market. It's a ph1 healthy volunteer PK/food effect study and last year tanked on a similar setup. Anyone telling you differently is trying to manipulate the stock at your expense. The real efficacy data is a year or more out and it's dead money until then. This will close down -25% day of ph1 data guaranteed.

$SCYX Do you really think the gov't promised scyx 214 Mil with no strings attached? Of course not. The gov't will just take this drug if they need it to combat a fungal outbreak. That is most likely what this funding is about. Shareholders are not in the equation. SCYX took the deal because it will allow them to complete the trials for 247 but there will be no money for shareholders. They will complete the drug and they personally will benefit if there is a fungal problem a la Moderna but I doubt shareholders see much a of anything. Their goal is to just keep it listed on Nasdaq and get the drug across the finish line. This cash should provide that. Hey, they saw brexa a big success. How did that go for shareholders? I want management to do a sit down and answer questions by shareholder and analysts. David avoids shareholders unless you wave money in his face.

$SCYX I don't trust a word they say anymore...Neither does WS, just look at the stock chart, the claims, and the actual revenue they produced. They need to SHOW ACTUAL REVENUE and stop claiming bullshit numbers.
