How Zcash works  Zcash encrypts the contents of shielded transactions. Since the payment information is encrypted, the protocol uses a novel cryptographic method to verify their validity.  Zcash uses a zero-knowledge proof construction called a zk-SNARK, developed by our team of experienced cryptographers based on recent breakthroughs in cryptography. These constructions allow the network to maintain a secure ledger of balances without disclosing the parties or amounts involved. Instead of publicly demonstrating spend-authority and transaction values, the transaction metadata is encrypted and zk-SNARKs are used to prove that nobody is cheating or stealing.  Zcash also enables users to send public payments which work similarly to Bitcoin. With the support for both shielded and transparent addresses, users can choose to send Zcash privately or publicly. Zcash payments sent from a shielded address to a transparent address reveal the received balance, while payments from a transparent address to a shielded address protect the receiving value. The community is very active in organising fundraising activities for deserving causes.  The developers of Dogecoin haven’t made any major changes to the coin since 2015. This means that Dogecoin could get left behind and is why Shibas are leaving Dogecoin to join more advanced platforms like Ethereum. One of Dogecoin strengths is its relaxed and fun-loving community. However, this is also a weakness because other currencies are way more professional. The Kaspa implementation includes a lot of cool features and subprotocols including Reachability to query the DAG's topology, Block data pruning (with near-future plans for block header pruning), SPV proofs, and later subnetwork support which will make future implementation of layer 2 solutions much easier.

Shares of TrueCar (TRUE) rallied 60% on Wednesday morning after the company said that it has entered into a definitive agreement under which Fair Holdings, Inc., an entity led by TrueCar founder Scott Painter, will acquire the company in an all-cash, go-private transaction at $2.55 per share.This represents a premium of about 72% from the stock’s closing price on Tuesday and amounts to an equity value of approximately $227 million based on current basic shares outstanding.TrueCar <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/truecar-to-be-acquired-by-founder-led-strategic-and-financial-investor-group-in-all-cash-go-private-transaction-302584766.html">said</a> that Fair Holdings is negotiating with various financial and strategic investors to syndicate the financing of the deal with equity investments.TrueCar Chair Barbara Carbone said that the board unanimously approved the transaction after a thorough and careful evaluation. “...we are confident it is in the best interest of TrueCar stockholders and other stakeholders,” they added.Upon completion of the deal, Scott Painter will be the CEO of the company again, it said. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025 or early 2026, subject to the receipt of certain approvals.
