XLU Utilities Select Sector SPDR Fund

$XLU added on the 41.99 gap close…now just a 30 RSI and below the bottom band. great discount opportunity on a great asset - this is utilities, a critical staples of our daily lives. Next gap is 41.60, if they take it there.

$XLU added a few more today, and am at a traditional full allocation for my portfolio. Just a 28 RSI now, which is an incredible risk/reward opportunity.

$XLU just missed closing the 42.62 gap earlier in the week…maybe today will be the day. I have my buy orders ready if it does. Am comfortable with my current position, so in no rush. The intersection of a 30s RSI at the bottom band is a great discount area for buying quality assets.

$XLU After the CA legislature yanked utility company protections from SB 492, I moved 1/2 of my "power play" funds to GRID. California will sue the power providers into bankruptcy. Loved that place back in the 90's, but it's fucked now. Way to go Cali' hope ya'll figure can figure something out after you push the power providers into catastrophic financial ruin.

$XLU Value trap here. Utilities had their day in the sun over the past couple of years. No more. The sector is going to take a long time to recover. Not worth the wait.
