$AVXL Curious observation: In the latest CTAD program update posted on Monday, Anavex staff has been removed from the presentation author block, leaving just the SAB members...Dr. Sabbagh who is presenting, Dr. Gabelle, and Dr. Grimmer. Were I to hazard a guess, keeping corporate staff off the listing is a deliberate move to frame the Col24a1/SIGMAR1 data as a clinician-led analysis. Having the poster authorship carried solely by respected academic neurologists may shift how the data is received on the conference floor.

$AVXL We've gone from a CEO that in all earnestness could not even "Talk the Talk" to one who is mastering the "Walk the Walk." One can't emphasize enough the importance of demonstrating one's beliefs and promises through actions not words. Well done TK!

$AVXL This Is The Way. While I realize this great press release isn't enough to wipe away the previous negative sentiment the market has for AVXL, it is the right direction. A few more positive steps like this, all the missteps will be forgotten, eventually.

Either immediate or accelerated? a) science — dual indication indicates upstream restoration of autophagy and cellular homeostasis via SIGMAR1 activation and impacts both neurodegeneration in alz and neurodevelopment in rett b) safety — dual indication of safety esp vs mabs and even Daybue c) NAIN— aligns w the NAIN directive to break traditional regulatory roadblocks for safe, non-traditional central nervous system (CNS) therapies DDI and ADME trials complete. Data being analyzed. They are needed for NDA. DDI trial size at 65(more than double what might be considered normal). Gotta be a good reason to do that… Let’s see. GLTA

$AVXL Once Blarcamesine sees the light of day, the approvals will fall via off label authorizations. With little to no down side to taking this medication, companionate use and right to try will certainly be popular options for the sick. Dosage will be the only challenge. $AVXL Top line results of the Blarcamesine Phase 2b/3 Alzheimers trial were first presented on December 1, 2022 at CTAD. Dr. Stepen MacFarlane was the presenter. On December 5, 2022 Anavex hosted a conference call between CEO Christopher Missling, Dr. Timo Grimmer, Dr. George Perry, and investors. Doctors Grimmer and Perry didn't think Blarcamesine could be approved based on the trial's results. However, Dr. Grimmer did mention that he thought a pathway for conditional approval was possible, w/the requirement that Anavex initiate a confirmatory trial. Both doctors said that Blarcamesine would eventually be approved for the treatment of Alzheimers Disease. Their confidence in the drug should give investors confidence.

$AVXL The rational ones all left a long time ago and as I am doing only check in from time to time to see if there is still a pulse here. Barely. Anavex will be fine, folks. Maybe not in the timeline some hoped for but the drug most likely will work in the next trial, the issue wasn't data fabrication but rather too small of a trial because our CEO was hoping the EMA or FDA would buy into "precision medicine" allowing him to save time and money with a back-door path to approval. Our new team is doing it the traditional way which takes time and money. Fortunately we have money so dilution won't be too extreme. We also have a drug compound that I believe for a P2 is still very desirable so I'd expect a bidding war for a partnership. For the price to be trading .25 above cash is interesting. Either the data is completely made-up or there is an arbitrage opportunity about to take place with the options market.

$AVXL I own a ton of this stock, but with the PR yesterday and this artificial pullback it's very tempting to pull out the checkbook and add some more.

$AVXL I never did understand why we did not follow through with a second P3 Rett trial. Sure, Missling seduced us with the much larger TAM of AD, but he also promised not to drop Rett, he just left it and Parkinson's in some nebulous Purgatory--"we'll get to these very soon, trust me." The Rett follow up would have easy to do--short duration, pretty low cost and with learnings for the mixed results of the first trial. With success, it would have helped (a lot) the EMA to approve Blarcamesine for AD based on real world data. Missling probably feared a second failure might have cost him his job and he had many more years of salary to earn with a dragged-out AD process with the EMA. Tragic

$AVXL If the CEO is honest, has some philanthropy DNA, knows the strengths and challenges of the pipeline and is seen by BP CEOs as an honest and competent broker--we are way way ahead of the human tragedy of Missling who dragged things out to self-enrich and obfuscated at every turn. The result--human tragedy for families and patients. There's exactly zero excuse for Blarcamesine not already being on the Market for Rett and probably for about 2 years now.

$AVXL - I keep reading the same type of posts, over and over again, asking, then demanding answers...Answers to what? The company just went through major restructuring, and a not so hostile attempt to take control by a fly by night, clueless hedge fund, that more than likely had a strong backing with the previous CEO. Oh, and let's not forget the endless law firms lined up to bleed us dry. Nobody likes the ridiculously low stock price "I know I don't", but there's nothing to do than ride this out, or sell. And lastly, what would you like the new CEO to say, that wasn't just said that long ago. We had 10-years of empty promises, let's give this a year or two and see if the new administration pays off. I'm betting it will "hoping" it will. Adios Muchachos!!! Semi..Kinda Sort Of...

$AVXL one could even come to the conclusion that those that resigned were hoping for PVG to succeed, and Missling to come back. Just glad that PVG proved to be a quack. What a wasted year this has been for Anavex.

$AVXL If we have 20 more 16% days in a row, the share price will be back at $28. After that we can go back to the normal appreciation .

$AVXL These studies were two things Chris should have done as a matter of simple professional and pharmaceutical competence. Analysis isn't even complete in a way we could know all is well, but if she wants to mention every small update as it happens, I'm definitely not mad about it.

$AVXL something doesn’t add up here. About 10 days ago, before the proxy vote, I decided to have a flutter on some short dated calls, in anticipation of a post vote rally. Small size, won’t be profitable at these prices for sure. However after I bought and after the agm, vol rocketed to around 250%, despite a slight drop in price. Then came the precipitous drop we had just recently. Institutions voted the board in, remember that, the big holders. Now we have a massive drop, apparently showing how this is a complete basket case, nothing but darkness round the corner. I don’t believe this. What I believe is happening is, retail is getting flushed out, and institutions are piling in replacing them at these ridiculous prices.

$AVXL We can assume from consistent sharing that TK will immediately announce pediatric addition to Rett as soon as she knows in November. I feel as though this may be a small catalyst, as it/she may signal something broader about the FDAs evaluation of the previous Rett data and what it probably suggests is true about 2-73.
