Monad has raised approximately 244 million dollars in total funding across multiple rounds. The company secured 19 million dollars in a seed round in February 2023 led by Dragonfly Capital, followed by a 225 million dollar Series A round in April 2024 led by Paradigm at a 3 billion dollar valuation. Other notable investors include Electric Capital, Greenoaks, Coinbase Ventures, and prominent angel investors such as Naval Ravikant.

As part of the effort, more than 200,000 tertiary students across universities and vocational institutions will receive free access to Microsoft 365 Premium with Copilot for one year.&nbsp;Microsoft said the initiative builds on similar programs introduced in the United States and aims to equip young people with practical AI experience before entering the workforce.<h2 class="st-heading-2">AI Ambition Meets Investor Skepticism</h2>Investors have grown cautious over the company’s ability to generate returns from its artificial intelligence investments and the adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot.Microsoft is attempting to expand revenue through its AI-powered productivity tool, Microsoft 365 Copilot. However, uptake has been limited, with only about 3% of commercial Office customers currently holding licenses, said the report.&nbsp;However, the company’s Azure division continues to expand, with revenue growth of 39% in the December quarter and a backlog of $625 billion in commercial commitments.&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/MSFT">Microsoft stock</a> traded over 1% higher in Wednesday’s premarket. ($RNG) stock fell sharply in Friday’s premarket trading after an analyst downgraded the stock of the cloud-based communications software and services provider.Raymond James analyst Brian Peterson downgraded&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/RNG">RingCentral stock</a> to ‘Strong Buy’ from ‘Outperform’ and reduced the price target from $50 to $45, TheFly reported.The analyst action comes as he repositioned several ratings throughout the application software sector at the start of 2025.Peterson said he still believes RingCentral offers a positive risk-reward for investors, with an attractive free cash flow valuation.
