Correlations are typically high during corrections - meaning stocks drop and rally together. $META is showing some alpha this morning, bouncing near its 20EMA. Obviously, not immune in a weak tape but notably stronger than the rest of tech leaders.

$META I don’t see how cathie wood would have made large purchases at avg 755.16 past few days if she wasn’t aware of a hugely positive earnings report. I think something fantastic is coming and we will see close to 780-800 into earnings.

$META Always protect profits. Yes, we could rebound today, but I think it’s unlikely we’ll see a significant move to the upside. The drop could be at its peak. However, there’s a risk of a bigger move to the downside.

That's a symmetrical triangle — lower highs meeting higher lows, price coiling tighter and tighter. Classic consolidation. And look at the timing: the apex lands right around October 21. The earnings date. That's a coiled spring going into the print — the pattern resolves one way or the other, and earnings is the obvious catalyst to do it. $META
