$SOXL folks on this board don’t seem to understand that any technical analysis of SOXL means nothing. It’s 3x $SOXX so instead use that index’s chart to better understand positioning and volume profile for your ins and outs of the leveraged name. I keep seeing $95 or $90.91 needs to hold… that doesn’t matter. Have a good weekend and hope all the best for your trades.

$SOXL $SOXS …. SOXX Update! A week ago I was hoping 560 on SOXX would hold for couple more days and give me a second chance to get into SOXS, but No Bueno… Semis got punished hard the whole week. Imagine getting in at 29 on SOXS and finding in 9 sessions you gained 70% on the trade. Yowzer… ok, ok, no crying over spilt milk…. Now the script has flipped. We are nearing a support level that held last time we were here. 485 – 490 level on SOXX. If that breaches, next stronger support level would be 465 – 470. That level is a previous support AND 200 DMA, but it is not a guarantee that we could flush to that level. Just like I alerted Bears, I am alerting Semi Bulls now: Start accumulating bull positions near 490 and have a stop below 485 (and if adventurous, buy till 470 and stop out near 460). However, when a bounce occurs, do not expect any more than SOXX to reach 535, max 550. There is a HARD drop coming AFTER that and you don’t want to hold long anything in Semis. GLTA!
