Huge amounts of money being thrown at this to attempt to suppress the investment in these companies. But here are some facts: The TD3C Middle East Gulf - China route is the benchmark for VLCC carriers like DHT. The Iran conflict , at the peak so far brought the price way up to 462k PER DAY to haul oil for the TD3C route. Now it&#39;s 406 dollars per day, up 9%0in the past week. But the point here is  any price above 100k per day makes these VLCC carriers very profitable. And 406k is a long way from 100k per day.
