While NIM is an important metric it is not a loss but a difference between a banks interest income and interest expense, relative earning assets. The bank increasing credit loss allowances is also not a loss and does not mean they are losing on loans. They are reserves and if the losses don't pan out they come back to earnings. NU is being conservative which is prudent given all of the tariff impacts.

@Alphasearch @stocktwits I don't understand how so many people get Nu so wrong. First they grow users, then they monetize them. Their growth in new markets is outstanding. Their monetization of existing markets is outstanding. One follows the other, but people are bearish because they're still in stage one with Mexico and Colombia? I understand the skepticism with most fintech, but Nu's management differentiates them in a positive way and I'm going to continue to trust their execution because I can't see any reason not to.
