Amazon To Invest $50 Billion To Expand AI, Supercomputing For US Government

ARRK sold all of its Nvidia stake in January 2023 as Wood deemed it fit to invest in smaller AI names that were beginning to make a splash. The investor took flak for jumping the gun on Nvidia as the stock went about a record run, riding on the AI mania.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">AI Chip Pair Trade</h2>While Ark bought Nvidia, three of its ETFs trimmed their stakes in the company’s peer AMD. Nvidia Stock Has Dropped 11% In November — Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest Can’t Let Go Of The Dip-Buying Opportunity

Fears of an AI bubble have intensified, pushing Nvidia stock down nearly 2% in Friday's premarket session.

Archer Aviation stock has closed lower in seven of the previous 10 sessions.<h2 class="st-heading-2">What Did Joby Say In The Lawsuit?</h2>According to a lawsuit filed on Wednesday in a California Superior Court in Santa Cruz, Joby alleged that Archer recruited one of its former employees earlier this year to gain access to confidential information, which Joby dubbed “corporate espionage, planned and premeditated.”As per Joby, George Kivork, the firm’s U.S. state and local policy lead, downloaded dozens of files and sent some content to his personal email, days before he submitted his resignation to join Archer. The airtaxi maker further alleged that a real estate partner, which had signed an exclusive agreement with a partner, informed Joby that Archer had approached it with a “more lucrative deal.”The two companies are competing in the nascent electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) industry, with many large cities worldwide considering the aircraft as an alternative to road travel to reduce traffic congestion and pollution.Joby alleges that the eVTOL rival’s understanding of “highly confidential” details helped it leverage negotiations. “Archer brazenly used that stolen information to interfere with Joby’s exclusive strategic partnership. Significant amounts of other Joby confidential information remain at risk in Kivork and/or Archer’s possession,” Joby said.Archer CEO Adam Goldstein, however, denied any wrongdoing. “Let me be clear, Archer has no deal with this developer. Archer Aviation Stock On Course For 4th Straight Weekly Decline Amid Joby Lawsuit — Cathie Wood’s Ark Buys More

The stock has fallen over 12.8% this week, on course for the fourth consecutive week of decline. 

Block (XYZ) announced on Wednesday that its board has approved an additional $5 billion for its existing share repurchase program ahead of its 2025 Investor Day.&nbsp;The move comes on top of a previously authorized $4 billion program, of which roughly $1.1 billion remained unspent at the end of September, the company said in its filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Block can repurchase its Class A shares either on the open market or through private transactions.<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/XYZ/">XYZ’s stock</a> rose as much as 1.8% in pre-market trade. On Stocktwits, retail sentiment around the Jack Dorsey-led enterprise trended in ‘bearish’ territory over the past day.<h2 class="st-heading-2">XYZ 2025 Investor Day</h2>At XYZ’s 2025 Investor Day, Block’s senior leadership is expected to outline full-year financial guidance for 2026 and provide a three-year outlook. The company said the expanded buyback program is a central part of that strategy, aimed at returning capital to shareholders while supporting share price stability. The event will take place at 12:00 p.m. ET.Block reported its third-quarter (Q3) earnings earlier this month, which missed analyst expectations. The company reported revenue of $6.1 billion, missing the Wall Street forecast of $6.3 billion, as per Koyfin. Adjusted earnings per share (EPS) came in at $0.54, below the consensus forecast of $0.66.<h2 class="st-heading-2">XYZ’s Outlook</h2>For 2025, the company forecasted $10.24 billion in gross profit, up 15% from 2024, and expects full-year adjusted operating income of $2.06 billion, representing a 20% margin and nearly 28% year-over-year growth. Fourth-quarter (Q4) gross profit was projected to rise 19% to $2.76 billion, with adjusted operating income of $560 million and a 20% margin.&nbsp;“This quarter, I want to outline how Square will continue to take market share by being the best platform to help sellers grow, run, and automate their businesses,” said Jack Dorsey on the earnings call. The affected systems contain a defective third-party battery cell that may overheat, release smoke, or in rare cases produce small flames that caused minor property damage.Tesla said nearly all impacted units in the U.S. have been remotely discharged to render them safe, with remaining systems handled on-site by technicians. Lower yields could reduce income generated from those holdings, a key driver of Circle’s earnings.Deutsche Bank lowered its price target to $90 from $147 and kept a ‘Hold’ rating on the shares. Since the passage of the GENIUS Act earlier this year, major banks such as Citi, JPMorgan, and others have begun expanding their offerings.
