The company has now agreed with the FDA on new safety measures, including closer monitoring of liver function, short-term steroid treatment if needed, and stricter patient screening. Some patients with liver issues or serious heart instability will be excluded.“With the resolution in January of the clinical hold on our MAGNITUDE-2 Phase 3 trial for patients with hereditary ATTR with polyneuropathy, our attention now turns to completing enrollment in both ongoing trials. We appreciate the FDA’s responsiveness throughout this process and thank the many investigators and patients who are participating in these trials," said President and CEO, John Leonard.<h2 class="st-heading-2">MAGNITUDE Study&nbsp;</h2>MAGNITUDE is set to study about 1,200 patients to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a single dose of nex-z compared to placebo. MAGNITUDE-2 is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study testing nex-z in about 60 adults with hereditary ATTR amyloidosis affecting the nerves (ATTRv-PN).&nbsp;Patients are randomly assigned to receive either a single 55 mg infusion of nex-z or a placebo. The company said the drop was driven by lower trading activity and lower crypto prices, which in turn caused the firm to miss revenue forecasts.&nbsp;Overall, Robinhood reported earnings of $0.66 per share, missing analyst expectations of $0.68, as per Koyfin data. Robinhood Among S&P 500’s Worst Performers So Far This Year Amid Crypto, Tech Selloff

However, the&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/cryptocurrency/occ-drops-new-stablecoin-rules-crcl-coin-stocks-hold-gains-amid-hype/cZR6xwtRIbT">new rules</a> say such arrangements could be used to bypass the law’s intent.“If you look in our proposal, which we released yesterday, we have hard-wired a number of things into our proposal that we believe would tend to reduce the probability of deposit flight,” Jonathan Gould, head of the OCC, said at a Senate Banking Committee hearing on Thursday. “If a deposit flight were to occur, I think we would notice it, meaning it wouldn’t occur under cover of darkness, where no one would see it and fail to react to it.”<h2 class="st-heading-2">One Stablecoin Per Issuer Under Review</h2>This would effectively limit each permitted payment stablecoin issuer to a single branded stablecoin. If adopted, the restriction would be paired with a streamlined approval process for issuers seeking regulatory authorization.Such a change could have wide-ranging implications. For example, Paxos’ arrangement to issue&nbsp;<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/PYPL">PayPal Holdings’ (PYPL)</a> dollar-pegged stablecoin&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/coins/paypal-usd">PayPal USD (PYUSD)</a>, which currently offers rewards of roughly 4% on customer balances.<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/PYPL">PayPal’s stock</a> edged 0.5% in pre-market trade on Friday, following a dip of 3.75% in the previous session after the company&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/paypal-reportedly-not-in-talks-with-stripe-or-any-other-firm-for-takeover/cZTG0KkRIRR">denied</a> there were any ongoing talks of a sale to Stripe.
