A sharp semiconductor selloff is hammering SOXL, with traders citing fears that a Democratic-led Congress could constrain AI and data-center expansion; the funds 3x leverage is amplifying the losses. The community is split between warnings that the AI trade is unwinding and dip-buyers who see an oversold, fear-driven move and expect a rebound.

White in July 1985 and is headquartered in San Diego, CA.

Qualcomm, Inc.

Qualcomms quarterly report and outlook are driving the selloff: traders are focused on sharply weaker handset sales and margin pressure from rising component costs, despite modestly beating estimates. Some see growth in automotive, data center and the SpaceX partnership as a longer-term offset, while others argue diversification has not yet replaced the smartphone business.

Arm Holdings plc. - ADR

Arm Holdings Plc.

Arms quarterly earnings beat was overshadowed by limited upside in its outlook and softer-than-hoped royalty growth, while semiconductor and AI stocks faced broad selling pressure. SanDisk is caught in a memory-sector selloff as election results fuel fears that tighter AI and data-center rules could slow infrastructure growth and chip demand. Traders are split between calling the decline an overreaction given strong results and ongoing demand, and warning that weaker AI spending, memory-price cyclicality, and competition could pressure future earnings.

$TSLA product distractions to hide from the real fact that EV demand has slumped. BMW will have autonomous vehicles approved before Tesla will. LiDAR will be accepted before Tesla Dojo. It’s musk against the NHTSA with a bad fatality track record.
No proper charging infrastructure.
Poor ROI.
No advancing battery technologies
Increased Chinese and US tariffs
The bridge is Hybrids and then Hydrogen

@BossBabyInvestor trump presidency favors EVs? Current admin already does that. Trump is more for oil and gas but if Wlon pays up maybe he will switch his stance. Depends on how loyal Elon will be.

@Eireternal If Trump removes tax credits, other EV players will get hurt. GM, Fords etc will go back to ICE. Tesla will be the only EV on road. Profit margins will come back.

@BossBabyInvestor got ya. I see your point. Ultimately though Elon has always said he wants more companies on this journey for the long term so I think it would be good if Trump dismantled that progress.

@BossBabyInvestor without lidar FSD and robotaxi is not achievable. Simple as that. For optimus it's still many years left to replace humans in the factory, it slow and not effective.

Energy sector is already high competition I doubt Tesla will make any big money on that segment.

@AlejandroMasari they just need to train the AI more in snow roads. Our eyes help us to drive in snow. Driver might have to clear the camera manually unless TSLA comes up with self cleaning ones 😂
