1. Only 7 of the 32 still independent trade at higher share prices today. That&#39;s not a typo...only 7 of 32. 
 
2. 17 were sold at meaningful gains for shareholders. 15 of these 17 were sold within 2 years of FDA approval. 
 
3. 9 of the 61 were sold at big losses. 8 of the 9 waited for over 2 years to sell. 
 
4. 3 of the 61 went bankrupt

BPMC was 2 of the 17 sold at a huge gain but after 2 years of 1st FDA approval. BPMC did sell within 2 years of Ayvakit&#39;s 3rd &amp; last approval (in its biggest TAM). 
 
At this point I don&#39;t see why IOVA has to wait...but for every BPMC there&#39;s DCPH, GTHX, PBYI etc all with aspirations of larger labels. 
 
I have no crystal ball but FWIW I own tons of IOVA

@Night_Owl_Biotech We need to look at causation here. My take is that great companies get bought quickly but this does not mean you need to sell quickly to do great. My favorite example (non-oncology) is Mirum. They had been approached, refused to sell and they have gained 2x in a year and they&#39;re on their way to do another 2x gain. Good management does not sell if they see a clear way to double the price on their own.
