$NCLH I have read the transcript. My takeaway is that nothing is unexpected. We know that this year will suck and the recovery year will be 2027. They admitted that their booking curve is mostly their fault not Macro, so it is an improvement. I am glad they are implementing new pricing strategies. They also confirmed to sell another ship which is a plus to help their cash flow. With that said 2026 is too late to make any changes at this point. We have to see 2027.

They admitted that their booking curve is mostly their fault not Macro, so it is an improvement. I am glad they are implementing new pricing strategies. They also confirmed to sell another ship which is a plus to help their cash flow. With that said 2026 is too late to make any changes at this point. We have to see 2027.

@Sargon3  the challenge is that booking curve is a multi year progress. The cruise industry has an extremely long planning and booking timeline, so the 2025/2026 struggles were a result of poor planning and execution from 2024. Any change of behaviors will take 1 year to see a real impact. It is just how cruise industry works. It’s not as easy as firing people.

It&#39;s going to take time and even after 6 months we&#39;re in the beginning stages that tells me he did nothing but collect $4 million a year to live in is 1.7 million house and the outskirts of Miami and didn&#39;t open his fucking mouth when it was time to tell the previous bozos CEOs with the scenario really was so I disagree with you. I think getting rid of the CEO who was a board director who was picked by the incompetent board that was fired and run out. He needs to go immediately to get a real legitimate Cruise line CEO. Go ahead and study some of the lawyers reviewing del Rio&#39;s lawsuit and you&#39;ll see the corruption and likely felony that a shareholder class action would undercover. I have been in the same situation before, where you either be a yes man or be fired. Now he has the freedom and the power to do whatever he wants or envisions, so we will give him a year to see if it yields any fruit.

Similarly, a positive decision will take just as much time. Half of 2027 has already been booked. You can’t just cancel all itineraries and ask everyone to restart. 2026 mess was a bad fruit from 2024. They won’t have a clean sheet to work on until late 2027/2028.
