How many rate hikes do you expect from the Fed in 2026?

The Federal Reserve hasn't raised rates at all in 2026, but hawkish comments from Fed Chair Kevin Warsh at the Jackson Hole symposium have pushed September rate hike odds as high as 66%, a sharp jump from under 40% just a week earlier. How many rate hikes do you expect from the Fed in 2026? Vote and explain your reasoning in the comments.

Donald again is hell bent on creating a staglflationary economy. Very high tariffs, oil pushing base inflation higher. If the Fed starts raising be very scared. Old Mc Donald needs to lower tariffs and end the war with Iran.

I think 0. Housing is already cracking because of the current interest rate. We have homes listed for a year or more around me that wouldn’t have lasted a week just a few years ago

raising interests rates might remove cash from the system. But the chain effect is higher interest rates for private banks, so higher rates for those taking / having taken credits like businesses, so businesses have to charge higher rates on customers so customers get prices inflation. What even is the mechanism that is proposed to fight inflation by higher central bank repo rates? Can some explain. Where did it ever work? In history?

the fed’s gotta be worried about a revolution. if they raise rates, might be french revolution style going on sooner than they realize. people are waking up to whats going on geometrically.
