Will SpaceX (symbol logo$SPCX) and Tesla (symbol logo$TSLA) merge within the next 5 years? Drop your predicted date in the comments.

SpaceX went public last week and many believe Elon Musk will merge it with Tesla in the not-so-distant future. Dan Ives has said that he'd be shocked if they don't do it soon. Do you think the companies will merge within the next five years?

cars and rocket ships have nothing in common. One is literally meant to keep you here on Earth and drive you around, the other is literally meant to get you off Earth and fly you through space. The answer is a big no they will never merge, they are ideametrically opposed.

Elon, unfortunately, will merge both companies to secure all his Tesla shares as per his latest pay package. If there’s a change in ownership, it will trigger him to receive all his $1 Trillion payout package recently approved to be paid out immediately without having to reach any milestones.

Musk rolling all his dead, no growth, and failing companies into Space X. Just what till space X buys Nuralink and the Boring company for inflated prices. Let's keep this ponzi going

Something about unlocking a shit load of Tesla shares if the company reach $10T. I may remember incorrectly but it was something like that. Tesla wont be worth $10T for a while. But merging his companies like he merged xAI with SpaceX would definitely compound the marked caps under Tesla as they’re now open for investors. Even though the “10x in a year” days was gained privately.
