@hellojellomello It might sound like a good idea, but no way. Gevo needs to crawl before it can walk. Producing its own profitable product. I’m not familiar enough with Lanza’s ATJ pathway to know if that’s even a possibility. Gevo would be spreading itself too thin in two different directions, risking everything with a move like this. Gevo is too early and too small to take on risk like that.

@hellojellomello Maybe, but I doubt it. I’m all about limiting liability with very calculated risk taking. Preservation of the cash on hand is our lifeline. I’d rather see them buyback shares than buy LanzaJet. I’d also rather them invest that same money in actual projects like ethanol expansion or ATJ-30 than buyback shares.
