What is DAG? In more traditional blockchains, the host provides the food/drinks (i.e resources) for this party. And when the guests arrive, the amount of resources can only accommodate so many people, the portions are small and then everything eventually runs out and the party ends. Think Constellation DAG like a potluck (a party where everyone brings food/drinks). With every added guest (node to the network), the more resources the party has to keep going. This is the nature of Constellation, a distributed system that scales horizontally.  Is Constellation a Blockchain? Not exactly. Although inspired by the principles of decentralization, many standard blockchains such as Bitcoin and Ethereum face scalability issues. This is why the next, generation of decentralized networks such as Hashgraph, IOTA, and Constellation have turned to DAG.  What is a Microservice? “Microservices” is an approach to application development in which a large application is built as a suite of modular services. Each module supports a specific business goal and uses a simple, well-defined interface to communicate with other sets of services. Uber, for example, is not a singular app purse. It is a unified app which means it is a single interface that brings together their driver app, their rider app, and their corporate team app.

The Stellar network is an open source, distributed, and community owned network used to facilitate cross-asset transfers of value. Stellar aims to help facilitate cross-asset transfer of value at a fraction of a penny while aiming to be an open financial system that gives people of all income levels access to low-cost financial services. Stellar can handle exchanges between fiat-based currencies and between cryptocurrencies. Stellar.org, the organization that supports Stellar, is centralized like XRP and meant to handle cross platform transactions and micro transactions like XRP. However, unlike Ripple, Stellar.org is non-profit and their platform itself is open source and decentralized.   Stellar was founded by Jed McCaleb in 2014. Jed McCaleb is also the founder of Mt. Gox and co-founder of Ripple, launched the network system Stellar with former lawyer Joyce Kim. Stellar is also a payment technology that aims to connect financial institutions and drastically reduce the cost and time required for cross-border transfers. In fact, both payment networks used the same protocol initially.  Distributed Exchange Through the use of its intermediary currency Lumens (XLM), a user can send any currency that they own to anyone else in a different currency.  For instance, if Joe wanted to send USD to Mary using her EUR, an offer is submitted to the distributed exchange selling USD for EUR. This submitted offer forms is known as an order book. The network will use the order book to find the best exchange rate for the transaction in-order to minimize the fee paid by a user.  This multi-currency transaction is possible because of "Anchors". Anchors are trusted entities that hold people’s deposits and can issue credit. In essence, Anchors serves as the bridge between different currencies and the Stellar network.  Lumens (XLM) Lumens are the native asset (digital currency) that exist on the Stellar network that helps to facilitate multi-currency transactions and prevent spams. For multi-currency transactions, XLM is the digital intermediary that allows for such a transaction to occur at a low cost.  In-order to prevent DoS attacks (aka spams) that would inevitably occur on the Stellar network, a small fee of 0.00001 XLM is associated with every transaction that occurs on the network. This fee is small enough so it does not significantly affect the cost of transaction, but large enough so it dissuades bad actors from spamming the network.   Prior to Protocol 12, Stellar had a built-in inflation mechanism conceived to allow account holders to collectively direct inflation-generated lumens toward projects built on Stellar.  As the network evolved and grew, it became increasingly clear that inflation wasn’t working as intended — account holders either didn’t set their inflation destination or joined inflation pools to claim the inflation themselves, and the operational costs associated with inflation payments continued to rise — and so a protocol change to disable inflation was proposed, implemented, voted on by validators, and ultimately adopted as part of a network upgrade. (WU), among others, as potential beneficiaries.</li></ul>JPMorgan Chase’s (JPM) head of equity strategy, Dubravko Lakos-Bujas, believes that U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration is likely to increase its affordability efforts ahead of the midterm election season and this will boost companies targeting low-income consumers.Lakos-Bujas said in a note to clients, according to a CNBC <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.cnbc.com/2026/01/23/trump-policies-to-boost-low-end-consumer-into-the-midterms-says-jpmorgan.html">report</a>, that while the White House’s affordability efforts at present have not had widespread impact, this would likely change ahead of the November midterm elections.“A shift in policymaking towards affordability has favored value-oriented themes as the administration positions itself ahead of the November midterm elections,” Lakos-Bujas said in the note.The bank named 10 U.S. companies likely to benefit from its exposure to lower-income consumers.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Analyst Rationale</h2>Lakos-Bujas said that he continues to favor stocks catering to the low-end consumer, a group that has been strained by persistently high inflation, adding that tax cuts in the “big beautiful bill” and falling gasoline prices are reasons to be optimistic about this group.The analyst also highlighted Trump’s efforts to cap credit card rates in the short term and ban large institutions from buying houses as signs of the president’s growing focus on affordability.Trump said earlier this month that he would introduce a one-year 10% cap on credit card interest rates, citing the exorbitantly high rates at present. The President also said that he will ban large institutional investors from buying single-family homes to address housing affordability amid soaring home prices. Separately, Trump also said he would be instructing representatives to buy $200 billion in mortgage bonds to bring down mortgage rates and make the cost of owning a home more affordable.<h2 class="st-heading-2">The Companies That Made The Cut</h2>Consumer retailers Dollar Tree Inc. (DLTR) and Dollar General Corp. (DG) made it to the list, along with off-price retailer Burlington Stores Inc. (BURL) and multinational company Walmart Inc. (WMT).Hunt-focused value retailer Dollar Tree recently received a downgrade from BNP Paribas to ‘Underperform’ from ‘Neutral’ and a cut in its price target to $87, down from $118, citing a weaker sales environment and a fall in consumable units. However, <a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/DLT">DLT shares</a> have gained over 78% in the past year.Meanwhile, Walmart has been gaining from a recent surge in AI-driven traffic, emerging as a key product discovery entry point for consumers. <a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/WMT">WMT shares</a> have risen over 25% in the last one year.Financial companies <a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/C">Citigroup</a> Inc.
