StarkNet is a permissionless decentralized Layer 2 (L2) validity rollup, built to allow Ethereum to scale via cryptographic protocols called STARKs, without compromising Ethereum’s core principles of decentralization, transparency, inclusivity and security. The StarkNet Token is needed to operate the ecosystem, maintain and secure it, decide on its values and strategic goals, and direct its evolution. This token will be required for (i) governance, (ii) payment of transaction fees on StarkNet, and (iii) participation in StarkNet’s consensus mechanism.

Starknet

STRK is drawing attention amid a sharp rally, with traders highlighting Starknets privacy and Bitcoin DeFi push, including strkBTC and STRK20, alongside claims of rising BTCFi inflows. Bulls see these developments and Starknets post-quantum technology as potential differentiators, while skeptics point to token-unlock dilution and warn the move could be speculative.

SKY is a governance token, which is like a digital voting share, for Sky Protocol. This system launched in 2024 as a rebrand and upgrade of the older Maker Protocol. Sky Protocol’s main value lies in giving users a simple, secure way to trade, save, and earn rewards without ever giving up control of their funds. It is built around a stablecoin called USDS, which is always worth one US dollar, but it is completely decentralized. The protocol is run by automated agreements called smart contracts, so there’s no middleman controlling users' money. The system uses two main tokens: USDS for stable savings, and SKY for community governance. users can help secure the network and earn rewards by staking their SKY tokens in the Staking Engine, which is like locking them in an interest-bearing account to help the system run. The protocol also uses SkyLink to seamlessly connect users' funds across different blockchains for faster and cheaper transactions. The Sky Protocol is unique because it has no single CEO or traditional core team of investors; instead, it is managed entirely by its global community of SKY token holders. This decentralized setup means that SKY is primarily used for two core utilities: it grants essential voting power to decide on all major system changes, and it can be staked in the Staking Engine to help secure the network and earn rewards. Staking also provides holders with the ability to borrow the USDS stablecoin, making SKY the essential key for both governance and income generation within the ecosystem.

Skycoin

Galaxy Digitals reported addition of Skys yield-bearing sUSDS to its treasury and lending collateral, alongside an undisclosed SKY purchase, is fueling attention around institutional adoption. Traders are bullish on a breakout and speculate about a short squeeze, while others point to the pullback and warn the move may be hype-driven.

The Compound Governance Token is a governance token on the Compound Finance lending protocol, COMP allows the owner to delegate voting rights to the address of their choice; the owner’s wallet, another user, an application, or a DeFi expert. Anybody can participate in Compound governance by receiving delegation, without needing to own COMP. Anybody with 1% of COMP delegated to their address can propose a governance action; these are simple or complex sets of actions, such as adding support for a new asset, changing an asset’s collateral factor, changing a market’s interest rate model, or changing any other parameter or variable of the protocol that the current administrator can modify.

Compound

Traders are focused on a possible COMP breakout after a period of consolidation, pointing to chart patterns and the tokens capped supply as reasons for optimism. That bullish accumulation narrative is tempered by frustration over COMPs lagging price action and skepticism that it will sustain a move higher.

WorldFinancial

Discussion centers on World Liberty Financials preliminary conditional OCC approval for a national trust bank serving its USD1 stablecoin, which bullish traders view as a potential source of utility and a catalyst for a rebound. Others remain skeptical, citing WLFIs weak performance and concerns about Trump-family involvement, token supply, and possible selling.

Ethereum is a global, open-source platform for decentralized applications. In other words, it is a decentralized blockchain platform that enables developers to build and deploy smart contracts and applications without central authority control. Unlike Bitcoin, which primarily functions as digital currency, Ethereum operates as a programmable global computer where developers can create any type of decentralized service. The platform hosts over $14 billion in DeFi applications with hundreds of thousands of active users across financial protocols, NFT marketplaces, and gaming platforms. Its transition to Proof of Stake in September 2022 reduced energy consumption by over 99%, addressing environmental concerns while strengthening network security. The network operates through thousands of independent validator nodes that process transactions and execute smart contracts on the Ethereum Virtual Machine. Smart contracts are self-executing programs written in Solidity that automatically carry out agreements when conditions are met, eliminating intermediaries like banks or brokers. Validators stake ETH as collateral to propose and validate blocks, earning rewards for honest participation while facing penalties for malicious behavior. The EIP-1559 upgrade introduced a dynamic base fee mechanism that burns ETH with each transaction, creating deflationary pressure during high network activity when more ETH is burned than issued to validators. Vitalik Buterin proposed Ethereum in 2013, but seven co-founders helped build it, including Gavin Wood who created Solidity and the EVM technical specification, and Joseph Lubin who founded ConsenSys. The project launched in July 2015 after raising over $18 million through crowdfunding, quickly becoming the largest blockchain developer community. Major milestones include the 2020 Beacon Chain launch, the 2021 London hard fork implementing fee burning, and the 2022 Merge to Proof of Stake. Ether (ETH) serves multiple functions: paying transaction fees (gas), staking to secure the network and earn 3-5% annual yields, serving as collateral in DeFi protocols, and purchasing NFTs and digital assets. The asset is increasingly adopted by traditional institutions, with publicly traded companies adding ETH to corporate treasuries to generate staking yields while maintaining blockchain exposure, and in 2024, the SEC approved spot Ethereum ETFs, allowing traditional investors to gain exposure through conventional brokerage accounts. Ethereum's roadmap focuses on dramatically increasing transaction capacity to over 100,000 per second, reducing confirmation times, and enhancing decentralization while maintaining security against future threats like quantum computing.

Ethereum

Ethereums sharp pullback and struggle around the $2,500$2,600 area dominate discussion, with traders pointing to Fed-related macro pressure, liquidations and concerns that BitMine may stop accumulating ETH at its 5% supply cap. Bulls see the dip as an accumulation opportunity and expect a rebound, while bears warn that support has weakened and further selling may follow.

Aerodrome Finance is a next-generation AMM designed to serve as Base's central liquidity hub, combining a powerful liquidity incentive engine, vote-lock governance model, and friendly user experience. Aerodrome inherits the latest features from Velodrome V2.

Aerodrome Finance

Attention centers on Aerodromes planned merger with Velodrome and expansion into a unified, multi-chain liquidity protocol, which bullish traders see as a potential source of broader usage and revenue. The reaction is largely optimistic, though traders debate whether the rally can clear resistance or may fade as a sell-the-news move.

The mission of the Worldcoin project is to build the world’s largest identity and financial network as a public utility, giving ownership to everyone. A key component of the Worldcoin project is the development of the foundational infrastructure that will be important for a world where AI plays an increasingly large role. The Worldcoin system revolves around World ID, a privacy-preserving global identity network. World ID enables users to verify their humanness online while maintaining their privacy through zero-knowledge proofs. Using World ID, individuals will be able to prove that they are a real, unique human to any platform that integrates with the protocol, including to web3 systems, social networking sites, and governmental programs. This will enable fair airdrops or token/NFT sales, provide protection against bots/sybil attacks on social media, and enable the fairer distribution of limited governmental resources. Furthermore, World ID can also enable global democratic processes and novel forms of governance (e.g., via quadratic voting), and it may eventually show a path to AI-funded UBI. The Worldcoin token (WLD), alongside World ID, will let users participate in governing the Worldcoin protocol. To engage with the Worldcoin protocol, individuals must first download a first wallet app that supports the creation of a World ID. Users visit a physical imaging device called the Orb to get their World ID Orb-verified. Orbs are operated by a network of independent local businesses called Orb Operators. The Orb uses multispectral sensors to verify humanness and uniqueness to issue an Orb-verified World ID, with all images being promptly deleted on-device per default (absent explicit consent to Data Custody). All Orb-verified World IDs holders are entitled to claim recurring grants of free WLD tokens, subject to certain availability restrictions. The WLD token is designed as a utility token with governance properties.

Worldcoin

Worldcoins rally and bullish chart momentum are drawing attention, with traders pointing to hopes for a Grayscale ETF and the projects proof-of-humanity role in an AI-driven world. Others question the immediate catalyst and warn that the move could pull back.

Ethena

ENAs rally is drawing attention to Ethenas growing USDe supply and its approved fee-switch framework, which could direct revenue to ENA buybacks once supply reaches the required threshold. Traders are optimistic about adoption and potential buy pressure, while others point to token unlocks and volatility as risks; buybacks have not yet begun.

Bitcoin is the world's first decentralized cryptocurrency, created in 2009 by the pseudonymous Satoshi Nakamoto. It enables peer-to-peer electronic cash transactions without intermediaries like banks or governments, operating on a blockchain secured by Proof of Work mining and the SHA-256 cryptographic algorithm. With a fixed supply cap of 21 million coins and programmatic halvings every four years that reduce miner rewards, Bitcoin is designed as a deflationary digital asset often called "digital gold." Its value stems from solving the double-spending problem without trusted intermediaries, creating the first truly scarce digital asset with censorship resistance and permissionless access that no government, corporation, or individual can control. Bitcoin operates as a decentralized peer-to-peer network where transactions are recorded on a public ledger called the blockchain, distributed across thousands of computers globally. Transactions are grouped into blocks added approximately every 10 minutes through mining, where specialized computers compete to solve complex mathematical puzzles. Bitcoin has achieved mainstream adoption through multiple vectors. The January 2024 SEC approval of 11 spot Bitcoin ETFs opened Bitcoin investment to traditional finance participants, and corporations like Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) are using Bitcoin as a treasury reserve asset to protect against currency debasement, offering MSTR holders amplified exposure to Bitcoin. The Bitcoin ecosystem continues to evolve with innovations like Ordinals, which emerged in January 2023 to enable NFT-like functionality directly on Bitcoin, and BRC-20 tokens, an experimental standard for creating fungible tokens using Ordinal inscriptions. BTCFi (Bitcoin Finance) represents emerging financial applications extending beyond Bitcoin's traditional role, with protocols like Babylon allowing Bitcoin holders to stake BTC to secure Proof of Stake chains.

Bitcoin

Bitcoins choppy consolidation after a pullback is driving discussion, with traders watching whether it can break resistance and resume its climb or lose support and retest lower levels. Bullish calls for a breakout and renewed rally compete with bearish warnings about weak momentum, low volume, and further downside.

NEAR Protocol is the blockchain for AI. A high-performance, AI-native platform built to power the next generation of decentralized applications and intelligent agents. It provides the infrastructure AI needs to transact, operate, and interact across Web2 and Web3. NEAR combines three core elements: User-Owned AI, which ensures agents act in users’ best interests; Intents and Chain Abstraction, which eliminate blockchain complexity for seamless, goal-driven transactions across chains; and a sharded blockchain architecture that delivers the scalability, speed, and low-cost execution needed for real-world AI and Web3 use. This integrated stack makes NEAR the foundation for building secure, user-owned, AI-native applications at internet scale.

Near

NEARs rally is drawing attention alongside discussion of an approaching quantum-resistant upgrade and a community-referenced tokenomics vote that traders say could reduce inflation. Bulls point to the upgrade and buybacks as support for further interest, while some question whether network usage creates lasting demand for the token.
