$ATOM My short thesis from earlier in the week is even stronger than before. The float is tighter and the shorting has continued in my opinion. Every shareholder I have talked to this week has added shares taking advantage of the ATM non-event to add. The LD Micro conference provided the business case and potential royalty generation the company is capable of in the future. At 1% of the market they would generate $150m in royalties and over $6/share in earnings. Royalties are 100% profit margins and fixed costs for this company are less than $20m/year. At 10% penetration the royalties are 1.5 BILLION/year. For a product that  greatly improves all electronic parts performance thats a low price to pay. Keep in mind if the company makes that the fab makes 4x time that so a real win win and why wouldn&#39;t they license. Here is the updated material.

Updated 9/3/20. Short attack continues. The company filed to allow ATM share sales of up to $25m in new shares. This filing does not mean any shares will necessarily be sold in the future. At current price that would be around 2m shares which would only increase the outstanding shares to around 22 million.

@microcapspeculator i would assume 1% royalty license would be the bare minimum if ever a customer negotiated down to that level. But even at 1%, the potential revenue is still significant!

@Benph @microcapspeculator I think if they ever use it at a much higher price they might open an office in another country. Having support locally may eventually be needed.  Wouldn&#39;t that be amazing if they announced that in the future? It seems like a natural. I mean where might these new hires work out of?

The numbers I have seen are 240m wafers per year. 1% would be 2.4m wafers x$68/wafer royalty. Or roughly $150m in royalties if they capture just 1% of the market. At 10% of market it&#39;s billions.

@microcapspeculator @Benph @microcapspeculator right, if there is one lesson learned from the pandemic, it is that they need overseas staff to serve international customers. They will definitely need extra cash in the future for expansion and that ATM is a buffer in case they need expansion within the year..
