Crypto exchanges like Coinbase, OKX and Bitget are adding new features around AI decision-making directly into non-custodial wallets.

Worse Than FTX? More Than One Third Of Altcoins Hit All-Time Lows

The cryptocurrency market has lost nearly $2 trillion in value since October, with altcoins bearing the brunt of the decline.

<ul class="summary-bullets"><li>Hoskinson stated that his lack of support for the CLARITY bill isn’t just about stablecoin rewards.&nbsp;</li><li>He said that the lack of developer protections and the fact that every new project has to start out as a security are red flags that could hamper future growth.</li><li>Hoskinson added that he doesn’t understand the rush to pass the CLARITY Act, if it can be amended at any time.</li></ul>Cardano (ADA) founder Charles Hoskinson stated that the latest iteration of the CLARITY Act is a “horrific, trash bill” while explaining why he doesn’t agree with Ripple (XRP) CEO Brad Garlinghouse’s take that “a bad bill is better than no bill.”“Everything starts as a security,” Hoskinson said during his podcast. “Then you have to go to the SEC and tell them, I don’t think I’m a security anymore… The SEC has to agree with you. And, they can make an argument and say no.”According to him, legacy tokens like Cardano and Ripple may get grandfathered in, but the long-term impact of the CLARITY Act could “destroy all future American cryptocurrency projects.”<h2 class="st-heading-2">CLARITY Act Will 'Destroy' The Future Of Crypto</h2>The Trump administration might be pro-crypto, but if the democrats win the next election, their platform is likely to be anti-crypto, Hoskinson warned. According to him, their campaign will be one where cryptocurrency equals corruption, and then the CLARITY Act, in its current form, will be weaponized against the ecosystem.“Instead of having scary Gary rolling the dice with no law and ambiguity in a court that’s favorable to us, they will now have HR 3633 with no developer protections,” Hoskinson said. “How do you broaden the ownership of the token as a security? Bitcoin Rebounds Toward $70K After US-Iran Clash – ‘Sign Of Life,’ Says VanEck CEO

Bitcoin’s price rose to almost touch $70,000 on Monday, while the broader cryptocurrency market recuperated to $2.4 trillion.

During its fourth quarter (Q4) results in February, Robinhood reported that crypto-related transaction revenue dropped 38% year-over-year to $221 million. The company said the drop was driven by lower trading activity and lower crypto prices, which in turn caused the firm to miss revenue forecasts.&nbsp;Overall, Robinhood reported earnings of $0.66 per share, missing analyst expectations of $0.68, as per Koyfin data. Revenue came in at $1.28 billion, also missing the consensus estimate of $1.34 billion.&nbsp;In comparison to HOOD’s price drop of nearly 33%,&nbsp;<a href="http://stocktwits.com/coins/bitcoin">Bitcoin’s price</a> has only fallen around 25% so far this year. The apex cryptocurrency was trading at around $66,400 on Monday morning, down 0.4% in the last 24 hours. Robinhood Among S&P 500’s Worst Performers So Far This Year Amid Crypto, Tech Selloff 

HOOD’s stock ranks among the 10 worst-performing stocks in the S&P 500 so far this year, down nearly 33%.

<ul class="summary-bullets"><li>Principal Research Analyst Aurelie Barthere noted that most of the “bad news” has already been priced into crypto markets.</li><li>According to her, the primary risk facing cryptocurrencies is the weakness in equities, especially when it comes to technology stocks.&nbsp;</li><li>Software stocks currently lead year-to-date losses in the S&amp;P 500.</li></ul>Bitcoin (BTC) would be headed below $60,000 if the weakness in the U.S. technology stocks worsens, according to Nansen analyst Aurelie Barthere.According to her, analysts are watching for signs of trend reversal as Bitcoin trades between $60,000 and $70,000 but if U.S. tech equities stage a sharp drop, it could lead to Bitcoin’s price dropping below $60,000.Software names have been the biggest drag on the S&amp;P 500 this year, led by Intuit (INTU), which is down 38.25% year-to-date entering March. Workday Inc. (WDAY), Gartner (IT), The Trade Desk (TTD), and AppLovin Corporation (APP) also ranked among the S&amp;P 500’s five biggest losers so far in 2026.<h2 class="st-heading-2">When Will Bitcoin’s Price Rise?</h2>“Currently, BTC is trading between $60k and $70k,” Barthere told Stocktwits over email. “We are watching for higher "lows" before asserting that we are seeing a trend reversal or bottoming.”According to her, most of the "bad news" – like the CLARITY Act delay, hawkish Kevin Warsh as U.S. President Donald Trump’s pick for Fed Chair and the uncertainty of the mid-terms – has already been priced in. “This is usually a great set-up for a contrarian move,” she said.<h2 class="st-heading-2">When Could Bitcoin’s Price Fall?</h2>The S&amp;P 500 has edged just 0.49% higher so far this year while the Nasdaq has fallen 2.47%. Silver, in comparison, has gained more than 33% while gold’s price have surged more than 20%.&nbsp;“I do not like the price action in U.S. – and especially U.S. Tech – equities, which struggle to reach new highs. Were these to correct significantly, I think this would bring BTC below $60k,” Barthere warned.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Bitcoin Tumbles As U.S.-Iran Tensions Spike</h2><a href="https://stocktwits.com/coins/bitcoin">Bitcoin’s price</a> tumbled 2.2% in the last 24hours, falling below $66,000. The overall cryptocurrency market slipped 1.1% in the last 24 hours to around $2.3 trillion.&nbsp;Meanwhile,&nbsp;<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/INTU">INTU’s stock</a> was down 2.23% in overnight trade, with retail sentiment around the company on Stocktwits falling to ‘bullish’ from ‘extremely bullish’ over the past day. Chatter remained at ‘extremely high’ levels.
