Kerrisdale Capital on Wednesday disclosed a short position on Tom Lee-led Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR), stating that the digital asset treasury (DAT) playbook has become “basic and unoriginal.”<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/BMNR">BMNR’s stock</a> continued to gain in morning trade, up 1.5%. Retail sentiment on Stocktwits, however, dipped to ‘neutral’ from ‘bullish’ over the past day.The equities market has seen a surge in companies pivoting to holding cryptocurrencies on their balance sheets as the Trump administration took a friendlier stance on regulation. “As near-idential copycats overwhelm the market, premiums are collapsing and the ability to issue shares well above NAV to boost&nbsp;ETH-per-share is disappearing,” the research firm said.Kerrisdale Capital pointed to Michael Saylor-backed Strategy (MSTR) as an example of reducing net asset value (NAV). “The OG DAT, MSTR, has seen its premium slide from 2-2.5x NAV to around 1.4x after unpopular financings &amp; policy reversals broke the spell,” it said. “If the pioneer with a cult following can’t keep the magic alive, no one can.”BMNR is currently the largest Ethereum holding DAT in the market with more than&nbsp;two million tokens in its treasury, followed by SharpLink (SBET),&nbsp;which has around 800 million tokens. According CoinGecko data, there are around 13 companies with Ethereum on their balance sheets. This includes companies like Fundamental Global (FGNX) and BitDigital (BTBT),&nbsp;which also announced the&nbsp;inclusion of&nbsp;Ethereum as a part of their long-term treasury strategy this year.In addition to reducing returns, Kerrisdale Capital also critiqued Lee’s leadership. “Tom Lee has proven to be an underwhelming meme lord. MetaMask announced on Wednesday the rollout of perpetual futures trading and a new rewards system on its platform, alongside plans to integrate prediction markets through a partnership with Polymarket.The new perpetual trading feature, powered by Hyperliquid (HYPE), allows users to trade derivatives directly within their MetaMask wallet. The functionality is live in select regions and supports one-click funding from any Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chain while eliminating swap fees for perpetual trades.Later this year, MetaMask said it plans to expand its platform with prediction market integration via Polymarket. The performance of Bitcoin miners Marathon Digital (MARA) and Riot Platforms (RIOT) was mixed.&nbsp;<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/MARA">MARA’s stock</a> gained 1.2%, while&nbsp;<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/RIOT">RIOT’s stock</a> climbed more than 1.70%. Crypto-exchange Coinbase (<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/COIN">COIN</a>) was up 0.60%.The dip in the crypto market led to nearly $650 million in liquidations over the past 24 hours, according to Coinglass&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.coinglass.com/LiquidationData">data</a>. Most of the liquidations came from long bets, traders who bet that the price of cryptocurrencies would rise, amounting to around $490 million. Short liquidations were around $160 million. BNB Hits Record $1,330 While Bitcoin, Ethereum Retreat Amid $650 Million Liquidations

Meme token Dogecoin saw the steepest decline among the top 10 cryptocurrencies, falling 4.3% in the last 24 hours.

The report noted that it is unclear whether, or when, the full list of cancellations will be implemented.Meanwhile, a source who saw the list described it as a “kill list,” signaling an escalation of the administration’s efforts against clean energy initiatives, the report said. It added that the move appears tied to the ongoing government shutdown, with the administration using the standoff to advance a broader policy agenda aimed at reversing Biden-era energy initiatives.Under the Biden administration, the U.S. embraced green energy projects, including carbon removal and clean hydrogen programs, as part of efforts to combat climate change. Trump Administration Reportedly Planning Another $12 Billion in Clean Energy Funding Cuts

The new list of clean energy projects that may be slashed follows the Trump administration's announcement of $8 billion in cuts last week.

Jensen Huang Says Nvidia Will Keep Sponsoring H-1B Visas Despite Trump Policy Shift: Report

According to a report by Business Insider, which cited Huang’s memo to staff, the Nvidia CEO stated that immigration has been central to both his own journey and the company’s success.

Shares of CEA Industries (BNC) gained in morning trade on Tuesday after the company announced its BNB holdings had reached 480,000 tokens as the token’s price hit a record high.<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/BNB.X">BNB’s price</a> was trading around $1,290 at the time of writing, after hitting a record high of $1,330 earlier in the session. Combined with $77.5 million in cash, CEA Industries’ total treasury is now valued at around $700 million.&nbsp;The company’s 480,000 BNB holdings – a 15% increase from its previous stake – are valued at roughly $625 million, at BNB’s current price. CEA Industries spent approximately $412.8 million to acquire the additional tokens at an average price of $860 each.<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/BNC">CEA Industries’ stock</a> gained 7% on Tuesday, crossing the $10 mark. On Stocktwits, retail sentiment around the shares continued to trend in ‘bearish’ territory over the past day.
