CSB Bank’s Q2 update shows deposits up 25% to ₹39,651 crore and advances up 29% to ₹34,730 crore, led by strong gold loan growth.
CSB Bank posted robust growth in its September quarter provisional business update, with total deposits climbing 25% year-on-year to ₹39,651 crore and gross advances rising 29% to ₹34,730 crore.
The lender’s term deposits jumped 29% to ₹31,257 crore, while CASA deposits saw a more modest 9% rise to ₹8,394 crore. Advances against gold and jewellery surged 37% to ₹16,457 crore, underlining the bank’s continued reliance on its flagship loan segment.
With a market capitalisation of ₹6,586 crore, CSB Bank’s performance signals strong traction across both deposit mobilisation and lending, though the figures remain provisional pending limited auditor review.
