U.S. stock futures extended their rebound rally into early Wednesday, with traders reacting to President Trump’s surprise announcement that U.S. military involvement in Iran could end within two to three weeks. He is scheduled to deliver a formal televised update tonight at 9 PM ET.
As of 4:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday, Nasdaq and Russell 2000 futures rose 0.7%, Dow and S&P 500 futures gained 0.6%.
Despite the green start, retail sentiment toward the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY), an exchange-traded fund that tracks the S&P 500 Index, has moderated to ‘bearish’, while the Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ) ETF, which tracks the Nasdaq-100 Index, has been languishing at ‘extremely bearish’ amid high trading volume.

Nike (NKE): The stock fell another 10% in early pre-market trading after guiding for a Q4 revenue decline. CEO Elliott Hill is facing a prolonged turnaround, with China sales expected to drop 20% this quarter.
Beyond Meat ($BYND): This plant-based meat maker is also taking it on the chin, with the stock cracking 10% in early pre-market trade after missing Q4 revenue estimates and citing "elevated uncertainty."
Oracle (ORCL): Global layoffs affecting thousands are underway as the company pivots capital toward AI infrastructure.
Microsoft (MSFT) & Chevron (CVX): The companies are reportedly in talks for a massive $7B power plant in Texas to fuel AI data centers.
