Nvidia Corp. (NVDA) on Monday launched a new set of Omniverse libraries and Cosmos foundation models aimed at speeding up robotics solutions.

Running on its latest RTX PRO Servers and DGX Cloud, the tools help developers worldwide create realistic digital twins, simulate real-world environments, produce synthetic training data, and design AI agents that can interpret and interact with the physical world.

Nvidia stock inched 0.2% higher by Monday noon. On Stocktwits, retail sentiment toward the stock remained in ‘bullish’ territory while message volume improved to ‘normal’ from ‘low’ levels in 24 hours.

The Omniverse software tools now make it easier to move robot data between different formats, so simulations can run smoothly across various platforms. The new NuRec libraries help recreate real-world scenes in 3D with lifelike detail, using advanced graphics techniques.

The new Cosmos tools enable developers to build virtual worlds using words, pictures, or videos as prompts. The upcoming Cosmos Transfer-2 model will make it faster and easier to create lifelike scenes, with better control over details and language. A simplified version of the model will also let users run it on RTX PRO Servers.

“Computer graphics and AI are converging to fundamentally transform robotics,” said the vice president of Omniverse and simulation technologies at Nvidia, Rev Lebaredian. “By combining AI reasoning with scalable, physically accurate simulation, we’re enabling developers to build tomorrow’s robots and autonomous vehicles that will transform trillions of dollars in industries.”

Cosmos Reason, a new 7‑billion‑parameter model, equips AI agents with sensory and common‑sense reasoning. Nvidia stock has gained over 36% year-to-date and 68% in the last 12 months.
