Ondas Holdings Inc. (ONDS) became one of the top trending tickers on Stocktwits and the company’s shares rose 4% in early trading on Tuesday following the announcement that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Sentry CS, an Israel-based company in Cyber-over-RF (CoRF) and Protocol-Manipulation counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) technology.
"The addition of Sentrycs will strengthen our leadership in counter-UAS and solidify Ondas' position as a full-spectrum provider of autonomous defense solutions," said Eric Brock, Chairman and CEO of Ondas Holdings.
Ondas expects the transaction to close in November 2025. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Retail sentiment on Ondas jumped to ‘bullish’ from ‘bearish’ territory compared to a day ago, with message volumes at ‘high’ levels, according to data from Stocktwits.
Ondas said that Sentry CS has seen rapid growth, with combat-proven deployments across 25 countries, and has achieved fully operational threat mitigation.
"Passive RF detection and tracking are essential to modern layered defense, and Sentrycs brings a proven technology platform already deployed across sensitive airspace, critical infrastructure, and border environments,” Brock said.
Brock added that by integrating Sentry CS with Ondas’ Iron Drone Raider system, the company expects to deliver a unified detect-to-defeat solution that addresses the rapidly evolving threat landscape for its defense and homeland security customers worldwide.
Last week, Ondas announced a definitive agreement to acquire a controlling interest in 4M Defense, an Israeli smart demining company specializing in advanced demining capabilities, including robotic systems with terrestrial and subsurface AI-powered intelligence technologies.
Ondas had noted that 4M Defense will expand Ondas Autonomous Systems’ addressable market into the large global landmine and UXOs clearance and subsurface intelligence platforms market.
The company had also announced the acquisition of a controlling interest in Insight Intelligent Sensors, an Israeli developer of AI-driven electro-optical sensing systems.
Shares of Ondas have gained over 771% in the last 12 months.
