The shares of Sona Blw Precision Forgings Ltd are trading in green with gains of ₹8.60 or 1.93%. This comes amid the developments from the courts over the inheritance battle for the company. The current stock price stands at ₹454.10 per share.

The Delhi High Court witnessed a public three-way inheritance battle over the assets of businessman Sunjay Kapur involving his widow Priya Kapur, his mother Rani Kapur, and the children of his ex-wife Karisma Kapoor.

The dispute centres around an estate valued at an estimated ₹10,000 crore.
In proceedings on Wednesday, September 10, Rani Kapur flagged a suspicious transaction involving the sale of Sona Comstar assets worth ₹500 crore to Singapore-based entities.

She alleged that she had been left “on the road,” with nothing included in the will or trust, and claimed she “ought to have been mine,” calling the situation “incredibly unholy.”

The children of Karisma Kapoor have sought one-fifth of Sunjay Kapur’s assets for each child, alleging that the will presented by Priya Kapur is “forged” and “fabricated.” They claim they were unfairly denied their rightful inheritance.

Priya Kapur, while defending herself, told the court that despite public displays of affection, her divorce from Karisma Kapoor was acrimonious.
She added that the children were “not left on the road” and received assets worth ₹1,900 crore from the family trust five days before filing their suit in the Delhi High Court.

The court agreed to hear the plea filed by Karisma Kapoor’s children seeking their share and issued a notice to Priya Kapur, directing her to submit a reply within three weeks.
Additionally, the High Court instructed Priya to disclose all known assets belonging to Sunjay Kapur.

The matter has been listed for further hearing on October 9.
