Shares of Gaxos.AI Inc. (GXAI) rallied by over 13% on Wednesday after the company announced that its portfolio company, America First Defense (AFD), had been accepted into Anduril’s Lattice Program.

The acceptance would strengthen AFD’s position in the growing counter-drone defense market, the company said.

Anduril Industries’ Lattice Partner Program is aimed at cultivating a defense ecosystem by enabling partners to create, integrate, and deploy meaningful defense capabilities via Lattice.

America First Defense develops advanced defense systems, including airborne counter-drone technology, and biomimetic soft robotics platforms designed for defense, homeland security, and critical infrastructure applications.

Gaxos.AI said that the acceptance into the program was an important milestone for AFD that would enhance its position within the defense ecosystem to support next-generation mission capabilities, situational awareness, and operational effectiveness.

The company also noted that a growing global demand for counter-unmanned aircraft systems, coupled with the acceptance, was a reflection of AFD’s efforts to further develop capabilities designed for modern operational requirements.

One bullish user expressed disappointment that the shares did not surge higher on the “big big deal billion dollar market” news.
