As explained above, Litecoin can transact a lot faster than Bitcoin, but there are also a number of other characteristics that investors need to know before trading. Litecoin can handle higher volumes of transactions because of the capability of transacting faster and if Bitcoin attempted to transact on the scale of its altcoin, a code update would be needed. However, Litecoin’s blocks would be larger, but with more ‘orphaned blocks'. The faster block time of litecoin reduces the risk of double spending attacks - this is theoretical in the case of both networks having the same hashing power.  Litecoin Technical Details: The transaction confirmation time taken for Litecoin is about 2.5 minutes on average (as compared to Bitcoin's 10 minutes). The Litecoin network is scheduled to cap at 84 million currency units.   Litecoin has inspired many other popular alternative currencies (eg. Dogecoin) because of its Scrypt hashing algorithm in order to prevent ASIC miners from mining those coins. However it is said that by the end of this year, Scrypt ASIC will enter the mass market.

(AMZN) has reportedly reached a $2.5 billion settlement with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), resolving allegations that the company misled consumers into paying for the Prime service.&nbsp;According to a CNBC&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.cnbc.com/2025/09/25/amazon-ftc-prime-settlement.html">report</a>, the agreement comes at a time when the company and the FTC were three days into the trial in a Seattle courtroom, with the opening arguments having been made on Tuesday. The court proceedings were expected to last a month, the report added.<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://amazon.com">Amazon.com</a> stock inched 0.3% lower on Thursday mid-morning. Amazon Faces FTC In Trial Over Alleged Prime Enrollment Strategy: Report

According to a CNBC report, the trial was expected to last approximately a month, and jury selection began on Monday, with opening arguments scheduled for Tuesday.

Amazon.com (AMZN) has reportedly rejigged its artificial intelligence assistant for online merchants as part of an effort to support sellers facing a challenging holiday season, which is being shaped by ongoing US-China trade tensions.According to a Bloomberg News report, the Seller Assistant by Amazon is designed to forecast demand and assist in inventory management. It does so by informing sellers of the quantity of products that should be ordered, the likely timing for offering discounts during the holiday season to boost sales, and when to retrieve inventory from Amazon’s warehouse to avoid storage fees.The report noted that the Seller Assistant’s first version was trained to respond to merchants' queries, and the reworked design would help them with selling suggestions.Retail sentiment on <a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/AMZN">Amazon</a> was in the ‘bullish’ territory compared to the ‘extremely bullish’ territory a day ago, with message volumes at ‘high’ levels, according to data from Stocktwits.
