Bitfarms will receive $9 million in cash upon closing, expected in Q1 2026, and up to $21 million over 10 months following closing, based on certain payment milestones, it stated.The sale of Paso Pe is the culmination of a series of transactions to completely exit LatAm and refocus the company, its management team, and capital on 100% North American power and infrastructure for HPC/AI.“This transaction brings forward an estimated two to three years of anticipated free cash flows from operations to be reinvested into our North American HPC/AI energy infrastructure in 2026,” Ben Gagnon, CEO at Bitfarms, said.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Pivot to HPC</h2>Bitfarms’ pivot into high-performance computing (HPC) and AI infrastructure comes at a time when crypto miners are increasingly struggling to make a profit as energy costs climb and Bitcoin has been showing weakness and thus are adapting to changing market conditions.It’s also not the only company to pivot towards artificial intelligence and high-performance computing. However, retail sentiment on Stocktwits dipped to ‘extremely bearish’ from ‘bearish’ over the past day.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Highest Bitcoin Production In 2025</h2>Hive produced 289 Bitcoin in October, which is an 8% increase from last month and a 147% year-over-year rise, marking a new high for 2025. The company said its production growth of 8%, outpaced Bitcoin network difficulty, which increased by 3%.Hive added that its strong mining performance is what is allowing the company to continue its expansion into Tier III+ artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) data centers across Canada. An initiative that the company calls the “Great Transformation.”“Our teams are executing on multiple fronts — from finalizing Phase 3 in Paraguay to accelerating our AI data-center buildout in Canada,” said Hive President &amp; CEO, Aydin Kilic. “We’ve built a profitable GPU-driven HPC revenue stream over the past three years, and the momentum continues as we scale both sides of our business: Bitcoin mining and AI compute.”&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Operational Hashrate And Earnings Outlook</h2>Later this week, Hive expects to reach approximately 25 EH/s of operational hashrate, once the intermittent curtailment at its Canadian facilities gets wrapped up. The miner is expected to report earning later this week on November 14. However, retail sentiment around the company on Stocktwits continued to trend in ‘bearish’ territory over the past day.&nbsp;<h2 class="st-heading-2">Helios Data Center Could Drive Significant Value</h2>Morgan Stanley noted that Galaxy’s Helios data center, once fully built out and contracted, could rank among the world’s largest single-campus high-performance computing facilities.It estimated the Helios project could be worth more than $30 billion in terminal equity value—a forward-looking measure of the company’s estimated equity worth once the data center reaches full scale and revenue potential. Helios has already secured 800 megawatts of approved and committed power capacity, with an additional 1.7 gigawatts (GW) under various stages of development and permitting. At full buildout, the campus could reach 3.5 GW.Moreover, Galaxy has secured a 15-year, 393-megawatt (MW) commitment from CoreWeave, which is expected to generate $700 million in annual revenue at full capacity. The pull back followed the Bitcoin miner announcing a $300 million offering of convertible senior notes due 2031, after the market closed on Wednesday. Bitfarms stated that it plans to utilize the proceeds from the sale for general corporate purposes. The company also intends to grant initial purchasers an option to buy up to an additional $60 million in notes, subject to certain conditions.Despite the dip in price, retail sentiment around&nbsp;<a href="http://stocktwits.com/symbol/BITF">BITF’s shares</a> remained in ‘extremely bullish’ territory amid ‘extremely high’ levels of chatter over the past day. Platform data showed that the number of traders following the stock rose 1.1% in the past 24 hours, while message volume climbed by 2%.
