The shares were up 11% in premarket trading on Friday, after declining in the previous four sessions.Nuburu first announced the acquisition earlier this month, sending the stock up by more than 86%.The transaction will be completed in two phases, with Nuburu Defense LLC investing a total of $5 million in Orbit over the next 36 months. The process began with the recently concluded $1.5 million investment, which secured the 10.7% equity stake in the company.In the second stage, Nuburu Defense will purchase the remaining shares of Orbit at a pre-money valuation of $12.5 million, with completion targeted by December 31, 2026.
