The period included an extra week that contributed about $132 million in revenue. According to Cox Automotive’s latest report, Rivian’s sales in the U.S. in Q4 stood at 9,745 vehicles, down by over 31% year-on-year.For the full year 2025, Rivian sold 42,098 vehicles, down 18% compared to 2024’s sales of 51,442 vehicles. Trump Greenlights ‘Tiny Cars’ For US Production After Signaling Support Earlier This Week

Earlier this week at the White House, Trump hinted at approving ultra-compact vehicles, questioning how kei cars would perform in the U.S. market.

Analysts expect Carvana (CVNA) to report strong revenue and profit growth for the last quarter, signaling continued interest in used cars.Revenue is projected to climb over 34% to $4.59 billion in the second quarter, while adjusted profit is expected to surge nearly 200% to $1.14 per share, according to Koyfin data. The company will report after the stock market closes on Wednesday.Carvana shares have surged 65% this year, driven by&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/inflation-alert-used-car-prices-hit-over-a-year-s-high-in-us-echoing-post-covid-patterns/chFUVHqR5hH">growing consumer demand</a> for affordable vehicles, including used cars, as buyers seek to hedge against the threat of rising prices resulting from U.S. tariffs.In a recent note, Wedbush noted particular momentum in Carvana's retail segment, as well as better per-unit profitability. The research firm expects gross profit per unit to be about $7,327, which is about 2% higher than current analyst expectations.Carvana has worked to restructure its balance sheet and improve cost efficiencies at the chain, which has allowed it to deliver sustained profitability, Oppenheimer said in a note. Carvana Chairman Cashes Out Again — But Retail Traders Aren’t Flinching

The electric vehicle maker’s shares recently probed all-time lows, but are making a turn to the upside this week. Now, both metrics are approaching their YTD highs following the announcement that Lucid’s premium Grand Touring Air drove 1,205 km on a single charge, surpassing the previous world record by 160km.
