$CRDL The most important part of today’s update is the “fewer-than-expected recurrences.” This is coming from the actual blinded Phase 3 MAVERIC data, not from old Phase 2 results. The trial was designed with FDA input, and because fewer recurrence events are happening than originally expected, they’re increasing enrollment to preserve the statistical power of the study. They still don’t know whether CardiolRx or placebo is driving that lower recurrence rate, but considering how often recurrent pericarditis comes back after stopping IL-1 treatment, I think this is the part investors should be paying attention to.

$CRDL I agree with Covode13 ( we truly are in rare times when Covode and i agree together ! LoL). But this is 100% accurate. I have spoken with a friend deeply entrenched with Cardiol, and they are saying the same thing. i beleive we are on the cusp of something really great, and we do not want anything less than a fantastic finish to this marathon, meaning the completion of this Phase 3 Maveric trial, and the subsequent read-out. So i much prefer the plan of increased enrollment and extending the trial and read-out to mid 2027, to give the absolute best opportunity for the absolute best results. There are a lot of eyes on this trial now, pharma companies for sure, but also the FDA is lock & step with Cardiol on what they are doing for this trial. It seems lots of people are now jumping on the wagon and cheering for this success / healthy / safe / affordable medicine. "Strong On Cardiol"

$CRDL I’m adding pretty heavily here. Cardiol has had these sharp drops before, and to me this feels more like a sell-the-news reaction than a change in the story. The Phase 3 update actually showed fewer-than-expected recurrences in the blinded data, which is exactly the kind of signal I’m watching in a trial built around preventing recurrences. Yes, they’re adding patients and the readout moves out, but they’re doing it to preserve statistical power. The underlying Phase 3 story looks increasingly interesting to me. And then there’s the partnering side. Nothing is guaranteed there, but with the Phase 3 program progressing and the data building, that optionality is getting harder for me to ignore. This is exactly why I’ve been in $CRDL, and why I’m using this weakness to add more.

$CRDL sell the news typical reaction. If it was a real bad news would have went down 30 % today. 7 to 10 % means its a great news.

$CRDL ahead of schedule for the 100 patients is very encouraging as it shows there is a desire and acceptance by these medical clinics to accept patients in this study. While waiting a little longer for the results of 150 patients.. it will clear the path for a quick application and acceptance in my opinion.

$CRDL Surprised at the blowback from the comments in the letter and the general developments. I dont like the delay. I was counting on a massive run pre results in Dec.. but a very low recurrence rate due to placebo is not a scientific probability I am counting on. I am using the phase 2 dramatic improvement in recurrence as the main reason for the phase 3 drop also. I am counting on huge results here. All in my optimistic opinion.

$CRDL volumes are getting lower each day it seems, everyone is holding untill the 100 % enrollment annoucement to see whats gonna happen i guess. Im holding untill mid 2027 , data results (you win big or looze all) . No point in stressing untill 2027 , wich is the 9th inning bases loaded.

$CRDL taken directly from a letter from Elsely to shareholders released today. One line here that if they believe this to be true I’d expect a nice recovery in SP soon. “One possible explanation is that CardiolRx™ is reducing recurrence risk by more than the trial was designed to detect, although this cannot be determined by a blinded review of the event count.” He also says they are unaware of factors that could’ve affected the study expectations besides the administration or cardiolrx or placebo. If speculation of cardiolrx possibly outperforming expectations this will climb nicely before the readout then rip if the data confirms that it significantly beat expectations.

$CRDL B. Riley reiterates its BUY rating and $11 price target on $CRDL after a deeper review of the MAVERIC Phase 3 update. Their main takeaway: expanding from 110 to up to 150 patients is a prudent move to protect statistical power, not evidence the drug is failing. The blinded review showed fewer recurrences than expected across both arms. That could mean CardiolRx is performing better than assumed, or that placebo patients are relapsing more slowly. It’s impossible to distinguish while blinded. MAVERIC already reached its original 110-patient target ahead of schedule, with full enrollment targeted by year-end and topline data expected mid-2027. B. Riley notes that the successful RHAPSODY trial also had a lower-than-expected placebo recurrence rate. Cash runway extends into Q1 2028. B. Riley sees the recent selloff as excessive, but the actual Phase 3 results will determine the outcome.

$CRDL the information that David put out seems to me they need to recruit more patients for the research, because the results they are getting. They weren’t prepared for. Meaning, they had an idea from phase 2 results maybe what it could do. So they had a limit on how far it could do as research. But they saw it as been doing even better then they expected that they needed 40 more patients to advance the research for further limits. I see this being a benefit because the drug is better and they want to get the research out of the way now then have to come back to it and redo all the funding. Already doing the research why not just push it further to get better eyes on the results and more investors and big pharm will be running to buy this.

Cardiol Therapeutics has already reached its original 110-patient target ahead of the end-of-September guide, then moved to as many as 150 patients after a blinded review showed fewer recurrences than expected. The company calls that expansion proactive: more events, more statistical power, a stronger package for the mid-2027 topline and a later regulatory filing. Canaccord is treating the same news as a positive. The firm reiterated Buy and a $10 12 month PT, arguing the steering committee’s call after fewer-than-expected recurrences favors CardiolRx on a trial built to detect recurrence-risk reduction. $CRDL shame this company cannot deliver anything to jump start and maintain this stock price. Always a hiccup. Today's event may indeed be a silver lining down the road but that road keeps extending.. as always. Good luck.

$CRDL So if I understand correctly the data is so good to be true that they want to make it even better by extending the trials a little. That way the final results will speed up the approval since it will be even more solid than expected.

$CRDL manipulation is normally something everyone cries when the stock dumps hard and while it’s totally possible with low float stocks like this and I doubt that’s what is going on here, however if this company and whoever they might have looking at them are believing that the product is performing better than expected, MMCAP was in a win win situation to sell and owned enough to crumble the SP. the shorts are beating it down now let see if bigger buyers than this last run start to pile in here in the next several months, it’s possible someone behind the scenes is trying to hammer this down intentionally.

$CRDL the 2 largest institutions combined held 30% of the float. If just those 2 sold half of their positions we would be roughly in this region so my better judgement says it’s possible atleast one of them has sold any or only up to 1/3 of their positions so far, it it keeps falling towards 1$ it’s possible they sold more than half or are entirely exiting.

$CRDL I think the big boys are selling because they know they have more time for this to go back up. So take profits while you can and buy lower from the big money moving the share prices for their benefit
