Where bitcoin has a continually growing pool with an eventual maximum, and Ethereum theoretically has no limit, Ripple was created with all of its 100 billion XRP tokens right out of the gate. That number is maintained with no mining and most of the tokens are owned and held by Ripple Labs itself — around 60 billion at the latest count.  Even at the recently reduced value of around half a dollar per XRP, that means Ripple Labs is currently sitting on around $20 billion worth of the cryptocurrency (note: Ripple’s price crashed hard recently, and may be worth far less than $60 billion by time you read this). It holds 55 billion XRP in an escrow account, which allows it to sell up to a billion per month if it so chooses in order to fund new projects and acquisitions. Selling such an amount would likely have a drastic effect on the cryptocurrency’s value, and isn’t something Ripple Labs plans to do anytime soon.  In actuality, Ripple Labs is looking to leverage the technology behind XRP to allow for faster banking transactions around the world. While Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are built on the idea of separating financial transactions from the financial organizations of traditional currencies, Ripple is almost the opposite in every sense. Junior Miner Delivers Best-Ever Silver Interval, Shares Surge By Double Digits

With silver prices holding near all-time highs, it&#8217;s no surprise that silver miners continue to attract strong investor interest. One junior miner just released its final drill results, showcasing the project&#8217;s highest-grade silver interval to date. The update pushed the stock sharply higher in today&#8217;s session, lifting it to its highest level since late 2023.Eloro Resources Ltd. <a href="https://www.allpennystocks.com/stockquote/ELO:CA" target="_blank">(TSX: ELO)</a> <a href="https://www.allpennystocks.com/stockquote/ELRRF" target="_blank">(OTCQX: ELRRF)</a> released this morning the final results from their second phase of definition drilling at the Iska Iska project in southern Bolivia, completing 16 drill holes totaling just over 8,286 metres. The program successfully confirmed continuity and extended zones of higher-grade silver-tin-polymetallic mineralization across the proposed starter-pit area. The standout result came from hole DSB-93, drilled northeast of the earlier discovery hole DSB-61, which delivered the project&#8217;s strongest silver interval to date: 72 metres averaging 294.81 g/t silver within a much broader 180-metre section grading 164.74 g/t silver along with notable lead, zinc, and tin values. Additional intervals in DSB-93 also returned meaningful gold, copper, lead, and zinc grades.Hole DSB-90, positioned east of a previous discovery hole, continued to outline robust tin-rich zones, including 51 metres grading 0.24% tin and several other significant tin intervals. It also encountered a higher-grade silver section of 13.5 metres averaging 106.32 g/t silver, including a stronger 7.5-metre segment. Together, the final holes from this campaign expand the higher-grade mineralized footprint across both the Tin Domain and the Silver-Polymetallic Domain in the Santa Barbara area. With these results, Eloro has wrapped up its current definition drilling phase, further strengthening the project&#8217;s growing resource potential.Tom Larsen, Eloro&#8217;s CEO, commented: &#8220;The second phase definition drilling program not only intersected the longest and highest-grade silver, tin and zinc intervals at the Santa Barbara zone to date, but also, all sixteen holes in the program, comprising 12 step-out and 4 infill holes, intercepted significant silver-tin-polymetallic mineralization in areas previously considered as waste in the initial Mineral Resource Estimate (&#8220;MRE&#8221;) due to lack of drilling information. The latest drilling demonstrates that there is a much larger endowment of higher-grade silver-tin-polymetallic both laterally and at depth, which will likely upgrade and expand the MRE for the planned PEA.&#8221; Mr. Larsen continued: &#8220;With the overall results obtained so far, Iska Iska continues to confirm its future participation as a premier silver-tin-polymetallic resource supporting the global shift toward the world&#180;s critical minerals supply chain.&#8221;Shares of ELO are currently trading up 14.74% at $1.985, while U.S. listed shares (ELRRF) pop 14.12% at $1.4265 in mid-morning trading.
