In a major push towards cleaner and more efficient energy, authorities have announced an ambitious plan to supply Piped Natural Gas (PNG) to every household in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. As part of the rollout, significant progress has already been made in the state capital. In Bhubaneswar , the target is to provide PNG connections to 1.25 lakh households, out of which around 19,000 homes have already been connected. PNG In Every Household The initiative is aimed at reducing dependence on conventional cooking fuels and promoting a cleaner, pipeline-based gas distribution system. In Cuttack , the expansion is also underway, with nearly 9,000 households already receiving PNG connections.
