(HRMY) soared more than 18% in Tuesday’s midday trade after analysts at Mizuho announced that they have learned of a new patent lawsuit filed by the company.According to TheFly, Mizuho analysts stated that Harmony Biosciences has sued AET Pharma for allegedly infringing a patent covering an amorphous formulation of pitolisant.<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/HRMY">Harmony Biosciences shares</a> were up over 14% in Tuesday’s midday trade. Retail sentiment on Stocktwits about the company trended in ‘bullish’ territory, with message volume at ‘high’ levels at the time of writing.<h2 class="st-heading-2">What Is The Lawsuit About?</h2>Mizuho stated in its note that AET Pharma is the sole remaining generic challenger that has yet to settle with Harmony Biosciences. The lawsuit covers pitolisant, which was initially developed by Bioprojet and subsequently licensed exclusively by Harmony for the development, manufacture, and commercialization of pitolisant in the U.S.The firm now believes the Harmony Wakix franchise should be considered protected and fully intact through 2030. It also noted that Harmony's lawsuit is a "significant development" and a "major positive" for the company.Mizuho contended that this lawsuit should also remove a major overhang on HRMY stock stemming from concerns that a generic version of pitolisant could be launched before 2030.The firm reiterated its ‘Outperform’ rating on Harmony, with a $50 price target, implying an upside of about 50% from current levels.Koyfin data shows that the average 12-month price target for Harmony is $42, implying an upside of about 27% from current levels. Of the 11 analysts covering the stock, six have either a ‘Strong Buy’ or a ‘Buy’ recommendation, four have a ‘Hold’ rating, and one has a ‘Strong Sell’ recommendation.<h2 class="st-heading-2">What Is Pitolisant Used For?</h2>Pitolisant, originally developed to treat excessive daytime sleepiness and cataplexy in narcolepsy patients, is also being evaluated by Harmony Biosciences for use in individuals with Prader-Willi syndrome.The company also has two pitolisant tablet formulations, namely Pitolisant GR and Pitolisant HD.Harmony is developing Pitolisant GR to enable treatment initiation within the therapeutic dose range. China accounted for the majority of the increase in net sales, combined with double digit growth in the Americas, it said.However, in the Middle East and some other parts of the EMEA and APAC regions, net sales were negatively affected by significant geopolitical and macroeconomic challenges, resulting in a decline in sales in parts of those regions, the company said.The Lake Forest, California-headquartered company warned that sales growth could continue to be negatively affected in these regions. It also noted that it shipped minimal quantities of certain products to China during the quarter to manage the excess inventory with distributors and the inventory is now within targeted range.“Our higher net sales, combined with our significantly improved cost structure, are expected to drive a meaningful improvement in adjusted EBITDA (core profit) for the first quarter,” said Deborah Andrews, Interim Co-CEO.STAAR Surgical is expected to report its full first quarter earnings in early May. However, at the end of the month the tally of Bitcoin on its balance sheet was at 13,561 BTC, instead of 14,021.&nbsp;The company sold 460 Bitcoin out of the 658 BTC it had mined over the course of the month at an average price of $71,396 for a total of $32.8 million. Most of the Bitcoin was sold at spot prices, while the rest was adjusted to address call and put exercises as well as other trading activities.&nbsp;Bitcoin’s price fell over 2% in the last 24 hours to around $67,900. Retail sentiment around the apex cryptocurrency on Stocktwits&nbsp;It added that it saw&nbsp;an operational hashrate of 50 Exahashes per second (EH/s) and an average operating hashrate of 47.3 EH/s over the past month. JetBlue Airways Reportedly Raises Baggage Fees As Rising Fuel Costs Bite

 As JetBlue experiences rising operating costs, it regularly evaluates how to manage those costs while keeping base fares competitive, the airline told CNBC in a statement.

However, the early nature of data and use of different sample sizes across measurements may bias the results, preventing conclusion, the analyst told investors in a research note. The firm awaits additional data in the second half of 2026 to better assess Sarepta's programs.
