$LPCN The session's VWAP and the ON-SCREEN PRICE have DIVERGED significantly. According to the 1-second chart, the VWAP was $3.24 when the price reached $3.99 premarket. The session's VWAP is now $3.15, and the on-screen price is $2.24. Between the two time points, the VWAP has dropped by less than 3%, while the on-screen price has dropped by ~44%. A MASSIVE DISCREPANCY has emerged, which seems inexplicable by profit-taking or ATM alone (to what extent the latter has been utilized today remains unknown for the time being). One factor behind the pullback, whose depth is DETACHED from the change in the VWAP, may be heavy shorting during low-liquidity times, which could disproportionately affect the price on the screen. Let's see if and when it starts reverting to the VWAP.
