The community is broadly bullish on NEARs AI, privacy, and cross-chain infrastructure narrative, while some traders attribute the move to momentum, short liquidations, or a liquidity-driven pump rather than a fundamental catalyst.

StarkNet is a permissionless decentralized Layer 2 (L2) validity rollup, built to allow Ethereum to scale via cryptographic protocols called STARKs, without compromising Ethereum’s core principles of decentralization, transparency, inclusivity and security. The StarkNet Token is needed to operate the ecosystem, maintain and secure it, decide on its values and strategic goals, and direct its evolution. This token will be required for (i) governance, (ii) payment of transaction fees on StarkNet, and (iii) participation in StarkNet’s consensus mechanism.

The platform utilizes the Move programming language to create a safe framework and supports horizontal scaling to keep fees stable and speeds high as the network grows. Significant institutional support comes from major venture capital firms including Andreessen Horowitz, Coinbase Ventures, Circle Ventures, and YZi Labs.  The system functions by organizing data into independent objects rather than a single ledger of accounts. This object-centric data model enables parallel execution, allowing the network to process many transactions simultaneously instead of waiting for one to finish before starting the next. This architecture is built for rapid transaction finalization to ensure near-instant results. To maintain long-term stability, the network collects fees into a storage fund that rewards validators for keeping data on the network indefinitely.  Sui offers several advanced tools including zkLogin for easier account access and sponsored transactions that allow users to interact with apps without managing complex wallets or immediate fees. Developers can also create tailored object types that work across the entire network, which encourages innovation and deep composability. These features are designed to create a more user-friendly experience for interacting with decentralized applications and digital games.  The SUI token is central to the ecosystem, serving as the primary asset for transaction fees and on-chain utility within decentralized exchanges and lending platforms. Users participate in a proof-of-stake mechanism by locking their tokens to support validators and secure the blockchain in exchange for rewards. Additionally, token holders have a role in governance, allowing them to participate in voting on network rules and future protocol upgrades. Value moves through the system through these staking rewards and transaction fees to ensure the platform scales sustainably

Reported Sui mainnet outages and network stalls are the dominant catalyst, renewing concerns about reliability, asset freezes, and the protocols prior exploit history. Traders are divided between treating the disruptions and token unlock supply as bearish risks and viewing the selloff as a buying opportunity tied to Suis gasless stablecoin-transfer and institutional-adoption narrative.

Avalanche is a high throughput smart contract blockchain&nbsp;platform. Validators secure the network through a proof-of-stake consensus protocol. It is said to be fast, low cost, and environmental friendly.

It was the first cryptocurrency to implement zero-knowledge encryption for private peer-to-peer payments, addressing the fundamental privacy gap in traditional cryptocurrencies that expose transaction details publicly.   With a fixed supply of 21 million ZEC and a halving schedule similar to Bitcoin, Zcash allows users to prove transactions are valid without revealing sensitive information like wallet balances, transaction amounts, or participant identities, making it suitable for everyday payments, long-term savings, and cross-border money transfers where financial confidentiality matters.  The protocol operates on its own blockchain currently using Proof-of-Work consensus, though it's evolving toward Proof-of-Stake through the planned "Crosslink" upgrade to enhance security, scalability, and energy efficiency. Zcash employs trustless zero-knowledge proofs (Halo) within its Orchard shielded pool to verify transactions without revealing sender, receiver, or amount information.   Users can choose between transparent public transactions and shielded private transactions through Unified Addresses, which work with both types. The network is faster and cheaper than Bitcoin, with new blocks mined every 75 seconds and transaction fees typically just a fraction of a cent. Privacy adoption has surged in 2025, with over 30% of total ZEC supply now held in fully shielded pools.  Zcash was created by a group of scientists in 2013 who initially proposed Zerocoin as a privacy extension to Bitcoin before building a standalone protocol. The ecosystem operates with a self-funded development model where block rewards support independent teams through the Zcash Community Grants Committee and a new Coinholder-Controlled Fund.
