MRD-negativity indicates that highly sensitive tests cannot detect any cancer cells in a patient’s bone marrow.Darzalex Faspro is a prescription medicine approved by the FDA in May 2020 and used to treat adult patients with multiple myeloma alone or in combination with other drugs. In November, the FDA also approved it as a single-agent treatment for adult patients with high-risk smoldering multiple myeloma, making it the first and only treatment for the disease.Multiple myeloma is a blood cancer arising from plasma cells in the bone marrow, causing them to grow uncontrollably, destroy bone, and impair immune function by producing abnormal proteins (M protein). Symptoms include bone pain (especially back or ribs), fatigue, weakness, kidney issues, and frequent infections. It is the second most common blood cancer worldwide.<h2 class="st-heading-2">JNJ’s Oncology Pipeline</h2>Earlier this month, Johnson &amp; Johnson reported oncology segment sales of $25.38 billion, marking growth of 22.1% year-on-year, and accounting for about 27% of the company’s overall sales. However, customer criticism regarding their see-through nature caused the company to pause sales online last week.“...we have temporarily paused sales online in the market to better understand some initial guest feedback and support with product education,” a company spokesperson reportedly told Bloomberg at the time of removal. “We expect to bring the collection back to our North America e-commerce channels soon and the collection continues to be available in other markets.”Following the pause, Lululemon founder and one of its largest shareholders, Chip Wilson, criticized the company in a LinkedIn post, terming it a “new low,” while also pinning the blame on the Lululemon’s board of directors.“Pulling back the “Get Low” product line after three days is clearly a total operational failure,” Wilson <a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/lululemon-founder-pins-pullback-of-sheer-training-pants-on-boards-lack-of-experience/cmUx4CWR4QP">said</a> in the post. Lululemon Shares Rise On See-Through Leggings Relaunch — New Recommendations Include Skin-Toned Underwear

It is on track to open at its&nbsp;highest-ever levels following a slew of favourable brokerage action and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co’s (TSMC) increased expenditure forecast, following a smashing fourth-quarter (Q4) earnings report.<h2 class="st-heading-2">What Are The Brokerages Saying?</h2>RBC Capital initiated coverage of Applied Materials with an ‘Outperform’ rating and a price target of $385, an 18% upside to the current premarket price of $325.4, according to The Fly. The stock beat the SOX index (PHLX Semiconductor Sector) last year but trailed U.S. equipment peers, weighed down by China-related headwinds, softer spending on mature nodes, and potential share losses. Despite this, the RBC remains constructive on wafer fab investment and expects Applied Materials to deliver growth at least in line with the sector over the next 12 months.Barclays upgraded the stock to ‘Overweight’ from ‘Equal Weight’ and raised the price target to $360 from $250. Microsoft has also committed to minimizing its water use and to replenishing the water that it uses.The announcement comes a day after U.S. President Donald Trump <a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/equity/trump-wants-big-tech-to-pick-up-the-tab-as-rapid-ai-datacenter-buildout-drives-up-power-bills/cmUQpzLR44b">said</a> in a social media post that his administration is working with technology giants, including Microsoft, to lower high power costs of running data centers.Apart from this, the company also said it would create more jobs, add to the tax base for local infrastructure development, and strengthen local communities by investing in AI training and nonprofits.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Microsoft’s Commitment</h2>Amid rising electricity consumption for AI usage, Microsoft’s power usage plan outlined four actions—paying utility rates that fully reflect datacenter costs so households aren’t burdened; working early and transparently with utilities to expand generation, transmission, and substations; improving datacenter efficiency through innovation and AI; and advocating for policies that speed up permitting, modernize the grid, and create fair rates for large power users.“Especially when tech companies are so profitable, we believe that it’s both unfair and politically unrealistic for our industry to ask the public to shoulder added electricity costs for AI,” <a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://blogs.microsoft.com/on-the-issues/2026/01/13/community-first-ai-infrastructure/">said</a> Microsoft Vice Chair and President Brad Smith in a statement. “Instead, we believe the long-term success of AI infrastructure requires that tech companies pay their own way for the electricity costs they create,” he added.The tech giant also said that its goal is to reduce water use for its data centers and invest in infrastructure that would help replenish more water than it uses.
