The revenue was also hit by softer demand for its services in the European region as well, the company said in a statement.&nbsp;</p><p>Company’s adjusted diluted earnings per share of $0.71 in the fourth quarter beat analyst estimates of $0.59 per share, as per fiscal.ai.&nbsp;</p><p>It said it exited the fourth quarter of 2025 with $1.51 billion in cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities and generated $47.6 million in cash flow from operations.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Outlook</h2><p>The company expects Q1 2026 revenue to be within a range of $270.0 million to $300.0 million, which includes shipments of 100 to 120 MWh of IQ batteries. This outlook includes approximately $35.0 million of safe harbor shipments. <ul class="summary-bullets"><li>The company reported revenue of $1.08 billion for the quarter, 44% higher than the same period last year, and well above analyst estimates of $970.5 million.</li><li>Teradyne CEO Greg Smith said that in 2026, the company expects year-over-year growth across all of its businesses, with strong momentum in compute, driven by AI.&nbsp;</li><li>Teradyne’s revenue guidance for the first quarter of 2026 is $1.15 billion to $1.25 billion.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>Shares of Teradyne (TER) rallied more than 20% during extended hours of trading on Monday after the company posted fourth quarter (Q4) earnings that beat analyst estimates, according to data from Fiscal.ai.&nbsp;</p><p>The company said Q4 growth was driven by strong AI-related demand in compute and memory.&nbsp;</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Upbeat Results</h2><p>Teradyne’s net income in Q4 2025 was $283.0 million, or $1.80 per diluted share, jumping nearly 90% from the year-ago quarter and surging past analyst estimates of $1.36 per share, as per Fiscal.ai.&nbsp;</p><p>The company reported revenue of $1.08 billion for the quarter, 44% higher than the same period last year, and well above analyst estimates of $970.5 million. Of the total revenue, $883 million came from its Semiconductor Test segment, $110 million came from Product Test, and $89 million from Robotics.&nbsp;</p><p>“Our Q4 results were above the high end of our guidance range, fueled by AI-related demand in compute, networking and memory within our Semi Test business. Across all of our business groups – Semi Test, Product Test, and Robotics – we experienced sequential growth, and at the company level we achieved 13% growth in 2025,” said Teradyne CEO, Greg Smith.&nbsp;</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Outlook</h2><p>The company provided guidance for the first quarter of 2026, with revenue expectations of $1.15 billion to $1.25 billion, and adjusted net income of $1.89 to $2.25 per diluted share.</p><p>“In 2026, we expect year-over-year growth across all of our businesses, with strong momentum in compute driven by AI,” Smith said.&nbsp;</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Upbeat Analyst</h2><p>Earlier on Monday, Evercore ISI raised the price target on Teradyne to $280 from $200 and kept an ‘Outperform’ rating on the shares.&nbsp;</p><p>The firm said that it believes the fundamentals on Teradyne are positive, as it sees multiple paths for upside to estimates, according to TheFly. It is on track to open at its&nbsp;highest-ever levels following a slew of favourable brokerage action and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co’s (TSMC) increased expenditure forecast, following a smashing fourth-quarter (Q4) earnings report.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2"><strong>What Are The Brokerages Saying?</strong></h2><p>RBC Capital initiated coverage of Applied Materials with an ‘Outperform’ rating and a price target of $385, an 18% upside to the current premarket price of $325.4, according to The Fly. The stock beat the SOX index (PHLX Semiconductor Sector) last year but trailed U.S. equipment peers, weighed down by China-related headwinds, softer spending on mature nodes, and potential share losses. Despite this, the RBC remains constructive on wafer fab investment and expects Applied Materials to deliver growth at least in line with the sector over the next 12 months.</p><p>Barclays upgraded the stock to ‘Overweight’ from ‘Equal Weight’ and raised the price target to $360 from $250. This was primarily due to a 5% drop in the company’s server revenue to $4.5 billion, and a 12% drop in hybrid cloud revenue to $1.4 billion which was partially offset by a 150% jump in networking revenue to $2.8 billion.</p><p>Adjusted earnings per share, however, came in at $0.62, above the company’s outlook range of $0.56 - $0.60, and beat Wall Street expectations of $0.58.</p><h2 class="st-heading-2">Outlook</h2><p>For the first quarter of fiscal 2026, the company expects revenue to be in the range of $9 billion to $9.4 billion, below an analyst estimate of $9.9 billion. Adjusted earnings is expected to be in the range of $0.57 to $0.61, above an estimated $0.54.</p><p>The company also hiked its fiscal 2026 adjusted earnings outlook to a range of $2.25 to $2.45 per share and raised the midpoint of free cash flow guidance, now expected to be in the range of $1.7 billion to $2 billion.
