Anchors are trusted entities that hold people’s deposits and can issue credit. In essence, Anchors serves as the bridge between different currencies and the Stellar network.  Lumens (XLM) Lumens are the native asset (digital currency) that exist on the Stellar network that helps to facilitate multi-currency transactions and prevent spams. For multi-currency transactions, XLM is the digital intermediary that allows for such a transaction to occur at a low cost.  In-order to prevent DoS attacks (aka spams) that would inevitably occur on the Stellar network, a small fee of 0.00001 XLM is associated with every transaction that occurs on the network. This fee is small enough so it does not significantly affect the cost of transaction, but large enough so it dissuades bad actors from spamming the network.   Prior to Protocol 12, Stellar had a built-in inflation mechanism conceived to allow account holders to collectively direct inflation-generated lumens toward projects built on Stellar.  As the network evolved and grew, it became increasingly clear that inflation wasn’t working as intended — account holders either didn’t set their inflation destination or joined inflation pools to claim the inflation themselves, and the operational costs associated with inflation payments continued to rise — and so a protocol change to disable inflation was proposed, implemented, voted on by validators, and ultimately adopted as part of a network upgrade. The CEO said at the Goldman Sachs Industrial &amp; Auto Conference on Thursday that the company delivered 10,000 v8-equipped Hemi engine RAM vehicles in Q3 and expects to ship another 20,000 in the fourth quarter.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Other Launches</h2>The company is also looking to relaunch the Jeep Cherokee by the end of December, featuring &nbsp;a hybrid engine. Automaker Stellantis NV (STLA) is recalling 53,849 vehicles in the U.S. over concerns that the fuel pump may fail, U.S. auto safety regulator National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Tuesday.The NHTSA <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2025/RCLRPT-25V586-8785.pdf">noted</a> that a fuel pump failure can result in a loss of fuel flow and drive power, increasing the risk of a crash. The recall includes model year 2017-2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia and model year 2018-2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio vehicles. Some of the vehicles may have been built with a fuel delivery module (FDM) that contains internal components susceptible to heat, resulting in a loss of flow rate and, consequently, a reduction in motive power, it said. &nbsp;The remedy for the issue is currently under development. While letters notifying vehicle owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed by the end of October, letters regarding the remedy will be sent once it becomes available, it added.The NHTSA noted that the recall follows an investigation initiated in January 2024. Stellantis has identified 437 customer complaints and field reports in North America that are potentially related to the issue. Stellantis Recalls Nearly 54,000 Vehicles In US Over Concerns Regarding Fuel Pump: But Retail Sees Stock Rallying To $10 This Week

Some also noted that this is followed by a sudden reactivation of EPS assistance, which may result in an oversteer condition.This behavior of the electric power steering could increase the risk of a crash, particularly at higher speeds, the NHTSA noted. In the first half of 2025, the company pegged the 13% drop in net revenues to declines in the North American and Enlarged Europe regions.The company, which has a total of 14 vehicle brands, said earlier this week that its first-half shipments in North America fell 23%, mainly due to decreased production of imported vehicles, most impacted by tariffs, lower fleet channel sales, and production gaps resulting from discontinued models.Net revenue fell 26% while adjusted operating loss came in at €951 million ($1.086 billion), down from a profit of €4.37 billion reported in the corresponding period of 2024.
