Mobileye CEO Sees Inflection In 2027 Growth Trajectory As Company Hikes Full-Year Revenue Outlook: Retail Thinks Stock Is Still A ‘Bit Expensive’

Vertiv Holdings (VRT) surged more than 13% on Wednesday after the AI infrastructure firm raised its full-year guidance and signaled confidence in managing new tariffs under President Donald Trump’s trade policy.First-quarter (Q1) earnings came in at $0.64 per share, slightly above the $0.62 consensus estimate, according to Koyfin. Revenue for the quarter rose 24% year-over-year (YoY) to $2.04 billion, beating Wall Street’s $1.94 billion forecast. Organic net sales climbed 25%.The maker of power and cooling equipment for data centers said it now expects full-year 2025 revenue between $9.325 billion and $9.575 billion, up from its prior range of $9.125 billion to $9.275 billion.&nbsp;“We’re seeing accelerated scaling of AI deployments across the data center market,” said CEO Giordano Albertazzi. “Our partnership with Nvidia continues to place us at the heart of industrial-scale AI factory deployments.”He added that the updated forecast takes into account the anticipated impact of new U.S. tariffs, which have become a growing concern for manufacturers with global supply chains.“Although the tariff environment remains fluid, our goal is to significantly mitigate the effect of tariffs as we enter 2026,” he stated, adding that the company is working to mitigate the tariff impact through operational flexibility, a diversified manufacturing footprint, and commercial strategy shifts.The company said it continues to shift production to Mexico under the USMCA trade framework, and said only a single-digit percentage of its U.S. factory inputs currently come from China. Upstart Holdings Inc (UPST) shares surged about 26% in the after-market trade on Tuesday after the company posted a surprise profit and its fourth-quarter revenue beat Wall Street’s estimates.On an adjusted basis, the company posted earnings of $0.26 per share for the three months ended Dec. 31, compared with average analysts’ estimate of a loss of $0.15 per share.According to Koyfin data, the company reported quarterly revenue of $218.96 million, compared with the average analysts’ estimate of $181.92 million.Its net loss narrowed to $2.8 million, compared with $42.4 million in the same period last year.Upstart’s total loans jumped to 245,663 from 129,664 in the year-ago quarter, while its transaction volumes rose 66% to $2.1 billion.Its revenue from fees rose to $199.28 million from $152.86 million last year.The company expects to post $1 billion in revenue in 2025, which, if it meets its projections, will be a record annual revenue for the AI lending platform.Upstart also forecast a net interest income (NII) of about $80 million in 2025 and said it expects to at least break even this year. Many investors on Stocktwits saw the settlement as a non-event, with some noting that the penalty had already been priced in. 

Africa-based e-commerce platform Jumia Technologies’ shares dove nearly 48% on Tuesday after the firm announced its intention to raise funds by issuing over 20.22 million American Depositary Shares (ADS).The firm intends to use the proceeds to help support customer acquisition, expansion of supplier base, scaling its logistics network and improving marketing and vendor technology. It also cited general corporate purposes.However, retail investors are shrugging-off the fundraise news while concentrating on its improving operating metrics.Jumia Technologies’ Q2 revenue declined 17% year-over-year (YoY) to $36.50 million but operating loss narrowed to $20.20 million compared to $22.10 million in the same period a year ago.The firm said its quarterly cash burn declined 55% driven by effective cost management and reduction in finance costs. Its finance costs for the second quarter were mainly influenced by losses recognized on the sale of financial assets. Jumia also reported a 35% jump in its gross merchandise value (GMV) at $170.10 million (constant currency basis).Notably, 67% of the company’s liquidity position was held in U.S. dollars as of the second quarter of 2024.
