However, disagreement over how stablecoin rewards should function has stalled its advancement. Banks are seeking to close what they view as a loophole left by the GENIUS Act and to ban companies like Coinbase from offering rewards to consumers for holding stablecoins. Meanwhile, the crypto industry has proposed that stablecoin yields should remain available to consumers within decentralized finance (DeFi).The two sides have until the end of the month to reach a resolution, in line with the February-end deadline set by Washington. Armstrong has been one of the most vocal opponents of a ban on stablecoin rewards, arguing that consumers and not companies, are the primary beneficiaries.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Crypto Market’s Stalled Alongside CLARITY Act</h2>While the CLARITY Act has been stalled at Senate, the cryptocurrency market continues to trade rangebound. We've got the support of the administration. We've got a Bitcoin president. We've got 12 Cabinet members that are pro digital assets and pro innovation,” he said listing out the reasons.<h2 class="st-heading-2">MSTR’s Bitcoin Has Gotten Expensive</h2>Strategy’s average acquisition price for its Bitcoin currently stands at around 76,000, considerable higher than Bitcoin’s current trading range under the $70,000 mark.&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/coins/bitcoin">Bitcoin’s price</a> was trading at around $67,700 on Tuesday night, down around 1% in the last 24 hours.&nbsp;However, according to Saylor, as he’s reiterated multiple times before, this is not a concern for Strategy because it bought most of its Bitcoin with equity, not debt. “So if we did buy the Bitcoin a little bit higher than the current level, we sold equity that it was a massive premium to the Bitcoin at the time that we bought it,” he explained. “So the company's balance sheets of fortress were fairly indestructible.”Saylor added that even if Strategy cannot add Bitcoin every week, the company intends to continue accumulating at least once per quarter. He said the company holds roughly $2.25 billion in cash and described its Bitcoin reserves as equivalent to decades of dividend capacity, arguing that the firm has sufficient capital resources for the next 50 to 60 years.<a href="https://stocktwits.com/symbol/MSTR">MSTR’s stock</a> is currently over 70% below its 52-week high. Analysts on average expected a revenue of $226.9 million.&nbsp;The company posted a net loss of $155.4 million during the second quarter compared to a net profit after income tax of $18.9 million in the prior year quarter.&nbsp;The company said its second-quarter (Q2) results reflected continued progress in the transition from Bitcoin mining to AI Cloud, with capacity increasingly allocated to higher-value AI workloads and AI Cloud revenues accelerating as deployments ramped.<h2 class="st-heading-2">Strong Data Center Demand</h2>The company said in an analyst call that data center demand is going to continue to compound.&nbsp;The company earlier had secured a $3.6bn GPU financing for its Microsoft contract.&nbsp;“We are seeing the strongest demand environment to date, and importantly, that demand is being met by a proven execution capability.
