We've got the support of the administration. We've got a Bitcoin president. We've got 12 Cabinet members that are pro digital assets and pro innovation,” he said listing out the reasons.<h2 class="st-heading-2">MSTR’s Bitcoin Has Gotten Expensive</h2>Strategy’s average acquisition price for its Bitcoin currently stands at around 76,000, considerable higher than Bitcoin’s current trading range under the $70,000 mark.&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/coins/bitcoin">Bitcoin’s price</a> was trading at around $67,700 on Tuesday night, down around 1% in the last 24 hours.&nbsp;However, according to Saylor, as he’s reiterated multiple times before, this is not a concern for Strategy because it bought most of its Bitcoin with equity, not debt. “So if we did buy the Bitcoin a little bit higher than the current level, we sold equity that it was a massive premium to the Bitcoin at the time that we bought it,” he explained. “So the company's balance sheets of fortress were fairly indestructible.”Saylor added that even if Strategy cannot add Bitcoin every week, the company intends to continue accumulating at least once per quarter. He noted that the apex cryptocurrency has not responded to its usual catalysts like weakness in the dollar or heightened geopolitical risks, which saw gold and silver rally while Bitcoin plunged alongside the stock market.The cryptocurrency may be on corporate balance sheets and seen a boost from the influx of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), but Burry contends those moves won’t be enough to uplift Bitcoin’s price – or prevent the losses that follow from it dipping lower. “There’s nothing permanent about treasury assets,” he wrote. This is the biggest hit it has taken since April 2024, according to Koyfin data.The company posted a loss of $1.08 per share, compared with expectations for a $0.92 loss. Revenue came in at $10.26 billion, lower than the anticipated $12.14 billion by Wall Street.&nbsp;After hours, the shares edged 0.41% lower. According to him, Bitcoin (BTC) is closer to the bottom than it was at the beginning of a bear market. Novogratz stopped short of calling an exact bottom, invoking Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart’s definition of hard-core pornography.&nbsp; “You don’t necessarily have to pick the bottom… but you’ve got a sense of when it turns,” he said. “Like pornography, you know it when you see it.”<h2 class="st-heading-2">Profit-Taking Weighs On Bitcoin Prices</h2>Novogratz postulated that the recent weakness in the crypto market, which recently drove&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/coins/bitcoin">Bitcoin’s price</a> down to November&nbsp;<a href="https://stocktwits.com/news-articles/markets/cryptocurrency/bitcoin-slide-below-74-000-triggers-700-million-liquidation-wave/cZbSFpoR4my">lows</a>, is because diamond hands – investors who have been holding Bitcoin since the early days – are taking more profit than was anticipated by the market. “We had one customer alone who sold $9 billion worth,” he said, adding that it will probably be a while before these “big chunky positions” work their way through the market.GLXY’s stock has fallen more than 3% so far this year but has recorded a gain of nearly 23% over the past 12 months.
