Its stake in Anthropic is reportedly around 14%. The latter figure is from Google’s submissions in an antitrust court case in March last year, and was&nbsp;<a class="st-link-external" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.nytimes.com/2025/03/11/technology/google-investment-anthropic.html">reported</a> by the New York Times.The quantum of Google’s shareholding would have changed somewhat after Anthropic raised a $30 billion round at a $380 billion valuation in February.Based on Stocktwits’ calculations, Google’s stakes in SpaceX and Anthropic are worth around $76 billion and $50 billion, respectively. When the two firms do list – and based on the higher valuation targets discussed in media reports – Google could end up with a combined stake of a massive $241 billion.
