Citi named Circle its top pick in regulated stablecoins and digital payments infrastructure, citing its strong position to benefit from growing stablecoin adoption and global payment modernization. Analysts said USDC is evolving from a store-of-value product into a broader financial infrastructure layer. Citi maintained its bullish stance despite lowering FY2027 estimates, highlighting accelerating Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) volumes, record issuance and redemptions, and stronger-than-expected adoption of its Arc platform. CCTP monetization is underway, with meaningful revenue expected in 2027, while institutional adoption is expanding across payments, fintech and capital markets. $CRCL I make sense of this by valuing it as as bank due primary earnings being from t-bill income. Ignore the tech aside.

$CRCL USD Coin (USDC): Over 800 million USDC was taken but successfully frozen on-chain by its issuer, Circle. The lesson here is there was a way to freeze the asset to prevent the theft. So even though Binance got hacked there was sufficient control by CRCL to control the flow of funds to prevent the loss. Where as the crypto assets are essentially lost.

$CRCL sheesh! $PYTH.X ”The Pyth DAO has approved a revenue buyback rule under OP-PIP-136 that directs 100% of funds received from Pyth products to accumulating PYTH in the Reserve, up from 33%. Stablecoin receipts fund open-market PYTH purchases carried out through a pre-authorized council. The higher allocation roughly triples the share of product-revenue funds assigned to purchases. It ties recurring PYTH demand to revenue receipts rather than setting a fixed purchase amount. $CRCL As of today, trades at a 14PE, so now not only is it positioned for the future and how money is moving around, its partnered with some of the biggest banks on arc to facilitate their growth and subsequent now trading at a very affordable 14-15PE and currently sitting at the bottom end of a historical range. It checks a lot of boxes.

Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, was hit late Thursday by what investigators say is the biggest crypto hack in history, w/ $6.3B in funds impacted & roughly half of those assets frozen. Customer withdrawals have been temporarily suspended, & co-CEO Richard Teng promised the exchange will cover all losses. Binance said it has money set aside in a Secure Asset Fund for Users to handle extreme cases, such as security breaches. Teng said the hack was not carried out by one person. Initial findings pointed to a compromised laptop, but further review revealed broader security breaches. This was a complex attack. The attacker also used a self-destruct mechanism that destroyed tooling & tracers." The hackers appear to have compromised Binance's wallet-signing infrastructure, allowing them to authorize transactions that drained billions of dollars in cryptocurrency across multiple blockchains Fundstrat: "This is likely the largest crypto hack on record, but the key distinction is that it does not currently appear to be a solvency event for Binance," Multiple crypto-tracing firms say notorious North Korean hackers TraderTraitor may be behind the largest digital heist in history—with billions of crypto likely gone for good. $CRCL Analysis Shook out to 85.80 at the open and then trended hard all session. It's now retesting today's high near 91.50 after a clean higher low at 90.20. First support is 90.80 to 91.00, the breakout base. Holding it keeps buyers in control. Below that, 90.20 to 90.30 is the key support zone, today's pullback low, with 89.50 to 90.00 as deeper support at the round number. Upside targets are 91.55 first, today's high, then 92, with 93 and 94 to 95 as extended targets on a clean breakout.
