What caused the first was not disclosed officially.The company announced late Wednesday that it had reached an agreement to settle all claims related to the incident with a one-time payment of $9.5 million in cash from its insurers.22nd Century sells reduced-nicotine VLN cigarettes and offers contract manufacturing of tobacco products.If the&nbsp;premarket gains&nbsp;sustain in Thursday's regular session, it would&nbsp;mark the stock's best performance since May.
