$TLT There’s been heavy buy action on the TLT. Is the low in? I’m not so sure? I do believe the FED is done raising rates. They’re definitely not increasing rates in October. I don’t believe they do anything. They’re going to let inflation run. We have a lot of volatility going on right now. I still like bonds. Definitely for those that keep accumulating them. DCA and collect 4-6% yields. I’m staying long miners and energy, but will move more into fixed income at some point. My scale back plan has been delayed. Ignore the noise. Yields will peak. The economy can’t take much more.

Dear friend, think of bonds like a seesaw with yields on the other end, because that is how this fund moves. TLT closed Friday at 81 dollars and 34 cents, holding above the 80 dollar line buyers defended for two weeks, after climbing to 81 dollars and 74 cents on Thursday, and that hold is what this swing is riding. When fear rises, money runs to long dated government bonds, and this fund simply rides that run, so a close under 80 dollars says the idea is wrong. The November 20 call gives that drift time to work, with room toward 85 dollars and then 90 dollars if buyers keep control. P.S. Watch 81 dollars and 80 cents first, the Friday high, because a close over it puts Friday back in buyers hands.

$TLT This (20Y treasury bond ETF) is a slow mover, so getting .80 cents (1%) move is a very good day, thanks to the fading 10Y yield. If it stays at this level, that could get my June/2027 $90 leap calls to ~$1.05 level from $0.57 avg, which would result in +84% gain, but since I still have 252 days left, I plan to ride this out longer with the hopes that 10Y yield fades into 4.5 to 4,75 in coming weeks/months. $TNX $TMF $SPY $QQQ
