For context, before the mixed-cure model, I built several different models.  I&#39;ve attached the convergence and divergence between 6 models, that all lead to the same/similar result during the trial duration.  
 
Pure Cure: S(t) = p + (1-p)·exp(-λt) 67.9% cured forever  
Leaky Cure: &quot;cured&quot; patients relapse at 1-10% per year  
Weibull: S(t) = exp(-(t/η)^β) decelerating hazard, no plateau  
Log-Normal: heavy right tail, no true cure  
Piecewise Exponential: fast early decline, slow late decline  
 
The straight HR when BAT = 11.5m across all, 0.179–0.186. P(success) = 100% for every one (stratified topline HR will be higher of course, but in the 0.31-.50 range, 99.99% chances) 
 
The only reason model choice does matter is for long term predictions.  But they all agree on what happens within the trial&#39;s observation window, which is all the HR needs.  
 
Fortunes will be made with sizeable positions.

In the Part 1 and Part 2 DD I shared, the machine learning models tested all the way up to 23 for BAT mOS. 
 
BAT mOS would have to be above 18 for the trial to fail, which is impossible.

@yG19 wow, any of these models far outpaces the 21 month mOS seen in p2. Is this due to unlimited GPS dosing and healthier trial population compared to p2? Or do you have other explanations?
