Considering the sequence of events, I am convinced there is an interested buyer for QNC. No doubt now that Susquehanna acquired their shares that Thursday evening before the AGM. The 54 mil or so aftermarket share exchange on Thursday was the tell. There is no way that Susquehanna could have bought 24M shares—even slowly— on the open market during regular market hours, since our daily volume has been way too low for that. They made a deal with a large owner/owners for those shares before the AGM. (SEC filing also implies RECENT ownership…)

Then the next day at the AGM they vote to oust our CEO and COO (almost exactly the same # of shares) in a last minute sneak attack. They obviously concluded that Francis and John ‘s views didn’t align with theirs.  They either represent an interested buyer for QNC and Francis likely won’t sell now, or perhaps Francis and John are currently in negotiations for a buyout with a different buyer than the one they represent…

I don’t believe in the theory that longer term shareholders were unhappy with Francis and John’s leadership or pace of progress, and this was an internal rebellion based on that. It is certainly possible, but the timing of all this makes this theory less likely, IMO

Susquehanna never loses. Good as gold. They acquired these shares at $3.25 or so(?).
 Even in the worst scenario, Susquehanna will drive the share price up to $6-8 mimimum to execute their exit strategy and double their money. They always come out ahead
So if we see a big rally on NO news, that could be a reason. As excited as retail will be (and new retail investors!!), you MUST bank a little profit when the share price hits $6-8 or more. It will be hard to do when we think a buyout or something fantastic is imminent….

So if we see a big rally on NO news, that could be a reason. As excited as retail will be (and new retail investors!!), you MUST bank a little profit when the share price hits $6-8 or more. It will be hard to do when we think a buyout or something fantastic is imminent….

If they succeeded, they could have filed Form 13D with the intention to pressure the board. Since it didn&#39;t succeed, they used 13G to say that they have no nefarious intensions. I still think the votes sent a signal to the board, that they really aren&#39;t going to just sit on their hands. How they intend to play it? I don&#39;t know! Time will tell and close scrutiny is needed.

So who sold them 24M shares?  When Defiance Quantum ETF bought their shares, it was on the open market, which ran up the share price to $4.50….

@Bosiedude Would FB really sell now before putting their &#39;foot through the door&#39;? I wouldn&#39;t.  You wait till you get every step accomplished first, more interest, deals.....which brings more value to the business before a buyout.  The company that buys it wants to see some value as well first. Just my take , but makes total sense.
