$BYND @beckinvestllc @Blanka_ If you're too fragile to have a debate grounded in _fact_ then I encourage you to block me. But if you're still reading, here are the facts: Only 1-5% of US cattle are entirely grass-fed. That is definition of "NOT SUSTAINABLE" - there is not enough supply to sustain the entire US population. Why are you trying to argue that which is factually false? And once again, you claim $BYND is filled with preservatives and "stuff you should not be eating". Here are the ingredients. Tell me which, exactly, are unhealthy? I suspect you won't respond because it's clear you're mistaken. Stick to your Spam in your doomsday bunker, I'm sure that's much healthier. Bullish
@DisMania @Blanka_ wrong. What you offer is more filth from billionaires telling what we can and can't do. Cows have to graze to survive and grow. Grass fed beef is what I eat. Grain fed beef is too fatty and also NOT SUSTAINABLE. Listen, you aren't convincing me that the processed glop you are pushing is healthier for me, you, or anyone. $BYND is filled with preservatives and stuff you should not be eating. If you don't get it, and stop trying to push your agenda, you will be blocked. Drop it.

@DisMania not only is it not sustainable, it can’t be scaled. We would need 3 planet Earths to feed 10 billion people on grass fed beef, lolollol. If those people want that system and get rid of the CAFO, they better get ready to supplement with some plant-based meat.

@Krp5028 Exactly. And the other half of his argument was "I buy grass-fed, if others want it, let them buy it too". Even a small run on demand for grass-fed beef would send prices to $20-30/lb+ Bullish

@DisMania correct. It’s so sad that these people are drowning in conspiracy theories and misinformation. People have been eating alt meats since the Tang dynasty (hello, seitan). I’m sure they were blaming Bill Gates for taking away their internal combustion engine before it became a status symbol to drive an EV. Ethan is right that at these moments of change, you will have a large percent refuse to adopt. Eventually, efficiency wins out, prices drop, and people just change. Story as old as time.

@Krp5028 Speaking of which, some of the best "fake meat" I've had recently came from a few local Chinese restaurants. I never thought I would be able to get that delicious boneless BBQ rib experience again, and was pleasantly blown away. The taste was spot on, even the texture was extremely close. Zero aftertaste like you sometimes get from seitan. As you said, they've had over 1000 years to perfect it. I also think a big catalyst for change happens when a new generation comes of age. Hopefully it happens sooner than that for Beyond! Bullish

@Krp5028 You mean the generation whose entire lives consist of tiktok, bed rotting, and mental health days? Why on earth not? 😂 I was referring the next generation.. or the one after that.. this kind of change won't be happening any time soon.

@DisMania nope, this is not a get rich quick scheme. Which makes me wonder why I waste my time on this site arguing with people that just like to argue, lol.

@DisMania @Blanka_ dude, you are not getting it. I eat grass fed beef. Other people should, too. If they don't, I can not force them to. I support farmers who do sustainable practices, and I know plenty more who do as well. One percent is better than zero percent, and eventually, those numbers will go up. I am not too fragile, but I am sick of people LIKE YOU telling what I can and can not do. The things in that "food" are also things you shouldn't eat... too many carbohydrates and "natural flavors" could mean literally anything.
