This would allow them to pass the extension in case they believe that there won’t be enough votes from retail.  Basically they would just need that more than 50% of votes cast approving the extension. I assume people who have voted have probably all voted FOR. LCA did this but for their merger date

@Beldar This happens more with spacs that took more time (many retail shareholders might have liquidated their position). Since they would have sold they wouldn’t care about the vote anymore. The problem is their vote would be cast against the extension (by default). However this would make no sense that a merger doesn’t pass because of &quot;not enough votes&quot; which is why this shortcut exists

@Stucazz1001 Yeah even if the merger doesn’t happen $10.22-10.50 is guaranteed it’s funds placed in a trust (but merger is more likely to happen... as I said before too much money is involved and 2 factories depend on this)
