$AMZN $GOOG $AAPL Sometimes  we lose sight of how the market moves stocks. When a stock is out of favor (AMZN) it feels like nothing can make it go up. It just sits there and flounders. Nothing is wrong with the company. It’s often doing better than it ever has but it’s cursed, hated, get me out now. Remember AAPL, GOOG. Both written off as losers. Get out before you lose everything. In actuality the companies were doing great. Their respective stocks had a negative narrative behind them. They were toxic. Then all of a sudden they were loved. Absolutely nothing changed. They were moved from the hated category to the “gotta own, back up the truck category.” It doesn’t make sense but it’s just the way it is. Crowd mentality. The moral of the story, hold great companies (AMZN) and when least expected  the negative narrative will become positive and the stock will soar. Patience

@Boardroommaster that’s why I never use options. 60-90% of retail option traders lose money.  The time decay is a killer. I get it that the leverage is extremely attractive but for long term wealth, for the retail investors it’s  much better buying the stock outright.

@NunzioKnows totally right but frequently you just cannot afford holding the bag fir months. Think about. NVDA, TSLA, NTFLX, they all lost 75% or more of their value 3 years ago and retails were heavily underwater. You sat no more, sell and stocks start flying.

@NunzioKnows I keep telling myself this (what you have said here), as I watch so many others I almost sold this for (like MU, etc), go up and up. I personally use Amazon to buy stuff on...but man, it seems hated for years (post split). Killin&#39; me with that &quot;missin&#39; out on other stuff I coulda&#39; bought feeling&quot;. Today, the feeling is so high  that I&#39;m going to complain on here and hopefully, reverse jinx the stock. Often, when I complain, something happens to   change the way things I complained about for the better, so that I am embarassed about my complaints...😅
